It was a rainy evening, after work & I was in the mood for some authentic middle eastern food..as I wanted a more healthier option of take out.. {didn't want any animal products}...& as much as I don't like to order to go (i/when I can help it...bcuz some places feel that it's an opportunity to give you the smallest portion size..in the smaller to go containers..but again it was rainy & I just wanted to get home) .. so I thought I'd give them a try.
I ordered the Bulgar & Falafel Platter w/pita & hummus, to go..paid $13+.. & let's just say that I felt like I got robbed!!!! The container measured approximately 8"x8" AND it had those "compartment style sections," (which decreases useable space...sry I completely forgot to take a pic). All of the food choices were there..BUT in reality..I felt robbed..the portion size..was in line with EXACTLY why I don't like to do take out...I GOT ROBBED!!!! 1 Slice of pita..which was GROCERY STORE style...IF I wanted grocery store... a.k.a. NOT AUTHENTIC middle eastern food... I'd PURPOSELY gone to a subway etc..!!! I was SO DISAPPOINTED!! The platter was ok..I've definitely had much better locally! I would NOT RECOMMEND this place unless you feel like getting robbed for store bought ingredients, w/meager seasoning.. I feel bad because I REALLY wanted to like this place..but again based on quality & price ...NOT worth my...

Love the food here, and we want to support local businesses during the pandemic. But, waiting 2 weeks to make sure I'm not sick--no falafel is worth that stress.
When I walked in, both staff members were at the back of the restaurant, and I was on the only customer. I was looking at the shelves and coolers of prepared foods while I waited for my (previously called in) order, and I wasn't paying close attention to the staff members' appearance. Only when I was at the counter and he was running my credit card did I notice he didn't have a mask on. Didn't attempt to put one on, nothing. Just acted as if there's no global pandemic.
Don't feel safe coming back--and if they're so lax with safety during a global pandemic, I'm hesitant about their safety record during normal circumstances...
Sadly, they've lost...
Read moreMy mom and I went here today for the first time and the service was really great. They are very friendly and welcoming. The food was so delicious and I canât wait to come back. My mom had the lamb shawarma, I had the chicken kebsa both with their Syrian salad mine with hummus, and my moms with warag dawali. I bought my husband a chicken shawarma to go to take to work and he loved it. My mom also ordered falafel to go. I wasnât a very big fan of it but the rest of the food was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by. They also sell a few grocery items which I didnât know until we stopped by. The prices are pretty reasonable. The only thing is the falafel was expensive compared to where I live, but I believe this is the customary charge in this part of...
