I ordered the Mesquite Chicken Salad while traveling and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and well-portioned it was. The grilled chicken was seasoned nicely and served over crisp greens, avocado, and tomatoes—exactly what I needed for a clean, satisfying meal on the go. The only downside was the difficulty in getting clarification on ingredients due to my dairy allergy. It took a bit of time and effort to get someone who could answer my questions in English, and the manager had to come out from the back to confirm everything. Once they did, they were very kind and helpful, but the delay added a bit of stress to the experience. All in all, the food was great, and I appreciate that they took my allergy seriously. Just wish the communication had been smoother from the start.

Avoid Andale Mexican Kitchen & Bar - Overpriced and Poor Service I recently flew in from Washington D.C. and made a stop at the San Francisco Airport, where I decided to eat at Andale Mexican Kitchen & Bar. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. I ordered six asada tacos and a burrito, and was shocked by the prices. The six tacos cost $36, plus an additional $8 because I chose asada meat. My burrito alone was $25. On top of that, they added a 5.0% employee health benefit surcharge, which was another $4. To make matters worse, they got my order wrong and overcharged me. I will never go back to this place, and I strongly urge others to stay away. Their 2.9-star rating is well deserved—save yourself the frustration and eat elsewhere.

Terrible service! Extremely rude. The container wasn’t closed properly. When I had asked about it and showed to them that the food spilled, I was informed that it was my responsibility to close it and put it inside the bag… Food was horrible. One of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Every single item was poorly cooked. Rice was partially cooked. Beans was uncooked. Soyrizo had a too much oil. They provided exactly 4 (not even kidding!) mixed greens. Cheese was really bad. And oh, the French fries was very oily. It had no salt or pepper and was nearly tasteless. I strongly recommend you don’t eat here!

This by far was the nastiest food I’ve ever put into my mouth. I got the burrito bowl, with everything in it, and added steak. I was told there was no way to get half chicken & half steak. (No big deal) I paid extra for more meat. The lady taking my order was very unfriendly and seemed as if she had an attitude, that she had to leave the bar and take my order. After paying $25.72 I received a disgusting slimy; wet bowl. The meat had no seasoning or flavor, and taste like it had been sitting in water all day. The rice was over cooked and mushy, the beans taste undercooked and also had a mushy texture. I’m flabbergasted and have never had such bad OVERPRICED food like this. I know SFO isn’t necessarily a foodie city but this is just down right disgusting. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. ITS THAT BAD!! One positive thing I can say is that the food did come out quickly, but maybe that’s the problem. They should work less on speed and...

The food is OK. I would actually rate it considering I'm a captive audience in an airport, not authentic but good portions and tasty enough. The salsa bar is a great bonus. The service really let's this place down tho. I get it, they don't make much more than minimum wage, it's super busy probably most of the time, & it's hard work! But when the cashier only screams "NEXT!!!" at you as you walk up (totally not necessary) and reacts when I ask a question by ripping a receipt out of the machine and violently slamming it in the bin, I don't even get what she was doing besides making a hell of a lot of noise, and then continuing to yell answers at me. Yikes. Calm down. Decent food or no being screamed at and treated like a number no matter where the place of business is poor hospitality. Not to mention the experience left me a...

ordered a veggie scramble on my way to my flight and got food poisoning later (and i was even nice enough to tip at the time). the only other thing i ate that day was a banana and a bag of goldfish, so im pretty sure the food poisoning had to have come from here.

the food itself was awful, cost $15 and the veggies were clearly getting old. the broccoli was going yellow. i took a few bites and couldnt finish them. they didnt even bother to heat up the food, it was room temperature and the cheese was just thrown in there un-melted. guac likely came out of a package, potatoes were fried and overly crunchy, salsa was half-decent.

to all the staff here: you made me violently ill and i had to miss a day of work without pay. wash your hands, label and date everything, use FIFO.......and heat up things that are supposed to...
