I came to Duty Free and your credit card system was down and a Asian lady with the name tag Ashley her name tag said appeared after calling for a supervisor. However, she only showed up just looked at the salesperson I was with didn't lift a finger she just left us in the middle of buying myself some skin care when she was called there to fix the credit card register which it didn't work. Ashley was rude to me like I didn't matter was how she addressed me I noticed and felt in appearance. There were several other Asian women muling around they looked the other way I noticed when Ashley who just left me and I had to go to the non Asian sales person standing there who was helping me. I purchased $350 of skin care products after the credit card system was working again with no help from Ashley the supervisor who stopped and heard what the problem was who just walked off. What's up with this Ashley does she always show no courtesy, no professional conduct to help, only displayed annoyance to help fix a machine not working or even offered to help? She instead turn away and just walked off rather than assisting with the credit system register failure and left us there. I couldn't believe this was a supervisor or even a customer service professional. I looked around and noticed other Asian women muling around loud speaking in their language and lounging around not doing anything like they were standing on a corner. Does this particular store only serve Asians and no one else? If so let me know, I would like to know so I do not come back here anymore or my friends it was like standing inside a fish market rather than a store of commerce. Was shocked no one wanted to help was absolutely not professional integrity they were all just standing around shouting over each like they selling fish in a open fish market. Some guy came behind this Ashley supervisor, another supervisor fixed the problem. I mean if she doesn't know how to fix that problem why she's a supervisor? Is this common practice here and are supervisors allowed to displayed such unprofessional conduct? She shouldn't be working here or even in a fish market if this how she treat customers. Are you kidding me? So I think you guys need some bad reviews and I am here to share that experience with Ms. High &...
Read moreI have shopped here twice a year for the past 15 years and always spend at least several hundred dollars each trip buying gifts, spirits and cosmetics. I have never had such poor service by the staff as I did the evening of my departure. Jin was the least bit interested in making me feel like a valued customer. I usually get gifts with my purchases as per your dfs emails you send me. Other staff at previous times were always kind, helpful and always happy to give me a gift when I spent over a certain amount in products, etc. Jin was dismissive and rude to me when I asked for the La Mer GWP as stated per email that was sent to me by DFS that week. She told me that my $800 spend was not enough. So I asked if she could make do with some other gwp of another brand and she said no and dismissed me as if I were a cheap customer and didn’t care that this experience was putting me off from shopping at the store again. I have decided after my experience that I will no longer shop at DFS San Francisco. When I told her that she has made me feel like I never want to shop at the store again she shrugged me off and said ‘Ok’. Hideous and disappointing customer service to people who help pay who...

On point (5) read the reviews of other passengers below who have not received the products they paid for. This is not just one isolated review from a disgruntled customer.
Duty free is generally a rip off but this is the worst I’ve experienced in 40 years of international travel. Shop around before going to the airport or buy online, discounted prices are often well below retail less tax.
Maybe pay slightly more and develop a relationship with your local retailer so that they’re there when...
