The Maple Leaf Lounge is overall a nice and spacious place to relax or catch up on work before your flight. ✈️ There are plenty of outlets and several rooms designed for privacy and quiet work conditions, which I really appreciated. The large windows bring in lots of natural light, making the atmosphere bright and pleasant.

That said, our check-in experience wasn’t great. The lounge attendant seemed bored and annoyed, with one hand supporting her chin while the other scanned our passes. When my husband didn’t mention that I was his guest, she had to redo something and rudely informed us to let them know next time. Definitely not the best welcome.

The food and drink options were decent, though as other reviews mention, food tends to run out quickly. When we went to grab something, a few pots were already empty, but the staff seemed to be actively replenishing them. I ended up with oatmeal, which was fine, but the brown sugar was clumped together in one hard chunk, making it frustrating to use.

Despite the hiccups, it’s a convenient lounge with a lot of good features. A little more attention to service at the checkin and food restocking would make it a much better...

Was really looking forward to the lounge. The nice guy at check-in told me its brand new and has shower and everything. Was hoping to give my daughter a good shower as there's a 6hr wait between our transfer.

Was denied entry at 8am because they only allow 3 hr access. Flight was delayed from 11:45 to 12:45 and my access time also needs to follow the delayed time.

I know most lounges have time limits, but this is the only one I've seen that's exactly following the books.

Delay led flight is not the passengers fault, but passengers need to suffer the additional wait. Assume I checked in 3hr before departure and then the flight gets delayed, I would've been kicked out of the lounge 3 hrs later (yes I asked the staff and that wad the answer) Even with a strict 3hr rule, shouldnt we count backwards from boarding time instead of scheduled flight time? Usually people give leniency since I'm travelling with a young child myself

Would've given 1 star for the experience. The additional star is given to the nice environment (which I've yet to witness...

My experience at the Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO airport was nothing short of outstanding. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment I entered, the team made every effort to ensure my comfort.

The variety and quality of food available were impressive. The lounge offered a diverse selection of fresh and delicious options, catering to various preferences. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the culinary experience surpassed typical airport lounge standards.

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and courtesy. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist created a truly enjoyable environment. The Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO has set a high standard for airport lounges, making it a standout choice for travelers seeking comfort and quality service. First time flying United out of SFO Terminal 2. No United Club but the pleasant surprise was that we went into the Maple Leaf Lounge as Air Canada is part of Star Alliance. Not crowded like the United Clubs at SFO often are.

If you are tired of the CC holding jam packed and lacklusted United Club lounges at SFO try for the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge at SFO, and it's above and beyond better. It's more modern, less crowded, very large and in every possible way a better experience. The lounge offers Canadian-inspired snacks, food and drinks, the bar has many choices of wine and spirits. It's much quieter, spaced out and the staff are really friendly. spotless bathrooms, shower facitlies and business area. The real kicker is the outdoor lounging area that is an amazing perk at any airport. Getting in isnt exactly easy but if you have a Chase Sapphire Reserve card and are flying a Star Alliance airline, you can access this lounge. Even if you're on a United flight, skip their Club and head here instead. Trust me, the Maple Leaf Lounge is a hidden gem at SFO. Definitely worth it
