I'll begin with the pros and move on to the cons. Had time to spare between flights but chose this restaurant because the menu had tasty options (even though the prices are outrageous) and it was close to our next gate. We were greeted promptly and didn't wait long for our meals, which we were patting ourselves on the backs for ordering because they were delicious! All sauces and sides, like pico de gallo and guacamole, are made on the premises. We had one server for our dinner and then, due to a section change, were given a different server when we decided to have an after meal beer. Two stouts were $20 and before we were even done with our drinks, our second server asked if we could move to another table to accommodate a large party that had just arrived. This was after we had already overheard him telling some of the members of the large party that we "were almost done anyway so [he] would just move them over there." Considering we had closed our dinner check and then ordered beers, he had no way of knowing we wouldn't be requesting another round because the servers drop your check without asking if you'd like anything else first. I had recently gone to the restroom and this family was not waiting to be seated so when he made this request to us, there is no way they had been waiting very long. The server, Daniel, didn't ask any other table to move but us so we chose to finish our beers instead of relocating and thanked him for basically kicking us out as we left. I think he may have been caught off guard by us calling him out on his actions because he started backpedaling on how he handled the situation. So between dinner, two beers, and tip, $70 produced a bad taste in our mouths as we were rushed to finish what had been a great visit up to that point. And as we left the restaurant, there were plenty of other places where this large family could have been seated without interrupting the experience of customers who were already present. As someone who has worked in the industry, the large party should have been given a time estimate on when they would be seated or not guaranteed that they could be seated together based on table availability. We didn't choose the table we were seated to and we shouldn't be booted from that table before we were finished in order to...
Read moreI stumbled upon this place trying to eat a quick bite between flights. I wish I remembered how to get there but it's just as easy to ask someone.
I was with my family and we couldn't decide what to order. I ordered the breakfast bacon wrap. It was a delicious scrambled egg with bacon and a few veggies wrapped up in a tortilla. When my food arrived at the table I had to quickly pull the plate closer to me, as I saw my oldest kid and my wife eyeing my meal. It turned out to be deeeelicious. It was also very filling and held up during my 6 hour flight.
The only thing that I was disappointed with was that we weren't even at our destination and our breakfast came out to almost two hundred dollars, for four of us. When I looked over the receipt everything looked correct including the (4) $15 mimosas that my wife and I drank. "That's where all the money went."
At the end of our meal all that mattered was that everyone was full and happy, and we certainly were. We had great service to go with our great food....
Read moreOff the bat the service isn't that great. They're quick to seat you and get your drinks but they're not keen to paying attention when your drink is low. It was between the Grilled Chicken Club or the Beer Battered Fish and Chips. The waiter suggested the Fish and Chips (4.00 difference) and it looked good on someone else's plate. The fries tasted old as if they were just sitting under a hot lamp, and the fish looked really good until i bit into it. The fish was dark inside, and the batter started falling a part because of how greasy it was. For $45.52 (Water, Diet Coke, Gin & Tonic, and Fish & Chips), the experience was definitely not worth the price. The only reason why this restaurant got 3 stars instead of 2 was because the Gin & Tonic w/Lime was amazing. Kudos to the Bar Tender on knowing how to make a stiff but smooth...
