This is very good for airport food. I would even buy this quality of food if I were not at the airport, which is saying something. It's sort of like a cross between Steak n Shake and Five Guys, but at the lower quality of Habit Burger. Hamburger patties are thinner style, but not in a "I'm the airport so I'm going to rip you off" kind of way. Just that's the style of burger. It also has a really nice char to it. The fries are chunky, hefty potato fries with a nice crispness. Vest part was the employees. They actually looked... happy?! I don't know if I've ever seen airport food service employees genuinely looking happy. They were saying hi to other airport employees/coworkers, but still staying on top of orders. Stay in the area if you order- They are trying to run a well-oiled machine and if you walk away while they call your number, it slows them down as they have to look for you. Would recommend.

Due to not being able to grab breakfast in the Castro before heading to SFO, this was our last-ditch effort to grab some grub before our 5 hour flight to JFK. As I made my way down the food hall, with every restaurant becoming less and less expensive nearer to the gates, I finally spotted Burger Joint and their sign stating that they serve breakfast. Sold! ATMOSPHERE: Located across of gate 55, they have a few dedicated counter seats of their own, or the entire terminal nearby. FOOD: Ham & Cheddar Cheese Scramble Simple and well executed sans for the pressed ham, but the taste was spot on! A very generous helping of deep-fried breakfast potatoes came with along with unbuttered toast of your choice. SERVICE: Counter service was friendly. Food delivery was a quick 5 minutes or less. OVERALL: The best deal in SFO for breakfast!

Our flight back home was delayed but my brother and I found solace while dining at the Burger Joint near Gate D15 of SFO. I was craving an LA dog (bacon wrapped hotdog) and they were able to exceed my expectations of the crispy bacon they added on top of their hotdog - side of salad had fresh vegetables and paired nicely with the ranch dressing they had. Other things I ordered was the cheeseburger, extra bacon, pepper jack cheese, no pickles and their philly cheesesteak. All three were superb. The icing on top was the hospitable interactions I had with their staff! Weng, the cashier, gave great customer service along with all the filipino cooks behind their delicious food. Worth it!

Food was good but they forgot to put lettuce on it when I asked. Honestly the first lady seemed very ride with poor customer service... Asked for a beer with the food and they handed me the beer and I said thank you with no response, then waited for food. Cool. I go back to grab order a second there are 2 lines I'm in the shorter line and guy in front of me orders and then I'm next and she walks away... I stand there for a few minutes waiting to get any sort of response but you can tell she refused to even make eye contact with m or anyone behind me. I go to next line n shortly after the 2 people behind me did as well... I finally order my second beer but this time she doesn't quickly pour and hand to me so I figure someone else should be on it since it is busy. I wait and wait and wonder if they're really going to wait for my order number to be next to finally hand me a beer. So I wait in a short line and this lady walks away again, well a different lady... She's on her phone looks at me then walks away back and fourth then finally asks can I help you. I ask can I have my beer... She asks for a receipt let's of a sigh and pours. Only reason I am giving a 2 and not a 1 star is because the burger and fries were...
