Hahahaha......Previous reviewer: "They charged us $40 for two weak Mai Tais." Where are you from anyway? Haven't you eaten or ordered alcoholic drinks in a large American airport before? If you have not, we'll excuse your response. Otherwise, get real. Drake's has excellent burgers and yes, I had to wait a full 15 minutes to get mine. But you have to learn how to budget your air flight time when ordering food or drinks, from take out shops, at large airports. You cannot be in a hurry or just settle for the airline snack, OK? If you find a sit down restaurant at the airport you'll wait at least 10-20 minutes just to get seated so understand it's up to you to budget your time effeciently and figure in a wait for any food stop. Besides, how could you expect a decent Mai Tai from such a place? You need to go to that sit-down shop and pay even more for a decent 5 oz plastic cup! The employees here were hauling you know what to keep up with the humongous line waiting to order food. The Corona virus has stripped most food emporiums of the necessary number of experienced employees so hold onto your hat. Give them applause for grinding out the hours to serve your meal cause they aren't exactly able to work two jobs at once.

Love this place. My first time and I was not to familiar with the menu. Maria was so welcoming and very friendly answer all my questions before my order. I order the Hamsy, with grill onions with a nice sourdough bread and potato chips made fresh. I'll go back again. Maria it is the manager, OMG you talk about proffesional, so frienly and great knowledge of the menu. They are great! It is a big portion. I'm a flight attendant and ate one half ,and the other half after landing and the sandwich wash perfect. Thank you Maria

This restaurant is located in the Harvey Milk Terminal 1. So, at SFO if you’re about to retrieve your bags from an inbound flight on Delta and you’d like to try Drake’s Flyaway, turn left. You’ll find many nice new venues. I decided to dine at Drake’s Flyaway and I’m glad I did. For an airport restaurant, it’s simply fantastic. You’ll find it a tad on the pricey side, but you’re not gonna eat here every day. If you choose to eat here I do recommend the potato leek soup as a side dish.

Kenny is an awful waiter and I’ll tell you why. This guy began raising his voice at my kids and I because we were sitting at a table watching the 4th quarter of the Warriors game. When I told Kenny we were staying for the rest of the game and then we would order food, Kenny got extremely loud, rude and began yelling that we had to watch the game outside the restaurant. Once Kenny did that, I no longer wanted to dine at Drake’s or spend my money at this restaurant. I was planning on ordering pizza and drinks once the game ended. Kenny was getting so agitated at me that my daughters started crying and people started looking at Kenny with disgust. What kind of waiter yells at a single man with his family just for sitting down in a restaurant and watching the end of a NBA playoff basketball game at an airport. Kenny should be ashamed of himself. I won’t be supporting Drake’s Brewery Company at SFO anymore because of Kenny’s rude and disrespectful behavior. If this business is hiring people like Kenny, I don’t want to spend my hard earned money there and I hope nobody has an...

The only real reason to come here is because you have to burn some time before your flight. Most airport restaurants are overpriced, but here, a wine that I KNOW costs $10-11/bottle goes for $16/GLASS here (talk about markup!). Ordered the fries, and they were “An Exercise in Salt”. Just so UNSPEAKABLY salty, you couldn’t possibly get through more than just a few. I had to stop & leave them there. They must be trying to kill people with those. I’m thinking if they could just ease-up on the salt, maybe 2 or 3 thousand FEWER milligrams of sodium than they already have (that’d probably still leave them at a thousand), they might be more edible. It’s a shame, too, because they actually LOOKED pretty decent. And unlike the wine, they were reasonably priced. In any case, I’ve learned my lesson, and won’t...
