See, I’ve only ordered from this particular Domino’s Pizza one time and that was tonight around 12:45 on the overnight of June 29th into June 30th, so late Saturday night into Sunday. I took careful consideration before placing this review at an otherwise impeccable seeming restaurant. I read the other reviews and almost felt bad about this review out there because the delivery driver was amazing. I even tipped him very well for being so awesome and understanding and just a cool guy overall. My issue is very specifically with the kid who answered the phone at about 1:14 am to field a quick question about my order. I realized I hadn’t updated my phone number in the app and I didn’t want my delivery driver to have to wait for me to come out so I was just checking to make sure everything was okay and that the driver hadn’t already attempted to call me to let me know of any delivery issues. I definitely wasn’t in a terrible hurry to receive my pizza. I just wanted to make sure I could just relay the information about my mismatched number in case my driver needed to reach me considering I was out with friends at a local bar. I didn’t even get a chance to relay the full message on the phone because the boy quickly dismissed me as an app tracker watcher and didn’t even try to figure out why I would be calling and me, a very level headed guy, became quickly distraught, and then I guess he thought he’d hung up but he stayed on the line and I overheard him tell another employee sarcastically on the side that I needed to get a life. I do not take this kind of horrible customer service and horrible example of just being a decent person lightly. I want to say that I’d love to order from here again but to be honest I won’t ever order from that location again as long as that disrespectful young man is answering their phones. I want to like this location because I’ve heard and read great reviews about this place but after the phone service I got from that kid tonight, I would never order from here again and would be remiss not to tell everybody in my inner circle to tell their friends and family to never go there again. You only have one chance to make a good first impression and this kid definitely blew it for this entire location. I hope that management and corporate reads these reviews and acts accordingly. Telling me I need to get a life, I’m helping to pay for that kid’s survival. I would never be so mean back to him but he just doesn’t seem fit to work with the public. By the way, the order definitely arrived shortly after my call very promptly which made me and my friends very happy. But like I said, I wasn’t in a hurry at all. I just wanted to make sure my driver could communicate with me. In fact, I’d like to give a special shout out to the amazing, wonderful driver who got my order to me and the level of service he provided for me in this situation. He had to hear the complaint about the snarky, cynical, antisocial, most unlikely customer service worker kid he worked with. I would’ve given my driver personally a 5 star rating for the restaurant but the reason my rating is two is that I hope no one would ever have to call about minor issues coordinating with the app and delivery especially when it comes to accidental miscommunication. Like I said, if someone better equipped to take those calls worked there, I’d order from them again. Until then I’ll do pick up at another local store. Literally any other store, even one in the roughest of neighborhoods just to detract business away...
Read moreI ordered carside delivery, and was waiting in the parking lot. When the ap told me it was ready (already told it I was there) I turned on my hazards. The timer started counting down, and stopped at 1:47, but no pizza. Someone had come out and handed an order to a car that pulled up to the door when he came out. I've had them turn off the timer before they came out before (or not start it at all) so I waited a while before I went inside.
While waiting I watched a couple of the kids throwing something back and forth between the front counter and the prep area, with one of them taking the time between throws to smack something on the floor repeatedly before tossing it back up on the counter. Gross!
When I went in to ask if my order had been given to someone else they didn't admit it, but also couldn't find it. They asked i i wanted them to make me a new one and it would take 10 min. I said that means the next one is free right? Because you missed the 2 min mark? He shrugged and went back to ask and told me they don't do that. I asked to speak to the manager who was incredibly rude and typed in the computer a bunch but never answered my question and went back to the back. I thought she was doing something regarding their guarantee so I asked about it anf the kid didnt know so she had to come out a second time. When she came back out again told me it was done. I said there are still commercials and the ap has the coundown. She said they do t participate. I would think the ap would not show the guarantee or the timer if that was the case. I asked if they were going to do anything about the fact I'd then been waiting about a half hour after I was initially told my order was ready and she said they were replacing it. That was all. Read moreI don’t normally ever write reviews but this upset me. Placed an order last night over the app and it didn’t say the store was closed. Google said the store closes at 2am, I played the order around 12:30/1. I guess I received a call from the store, but I didn’t answer because I didn’t recognize the number and no voicemail was left. My friend and I drove all the way to the location and saw that it was closed. At the time I thought my order was placed and they had my money, so I called the store because I still saw people inside. I wasn’t being a pain, I understand they were closed but I just wanted to clarify that I would get my money back. I work customer service I understand it’s frustrating when customers come after close. But I called the store and a girl answered and told me they were closed and I asked if I could just ask a quick question. She said “yes,” and as I was talking she hangs up on me. It was very rude and my friends and I won’t be back at this location. All she could of done was provide a simple explanation. This store needs to update their business hours and address this poor...
