Just had my second in a row bad experience there. After I spent 5 minutes looking at all the menu items that have doubled in price I see the young lady hand a guy a Reese’s snowstorm that looked amazing was 2-3 inches above the top of the cup and packed with topping. So I justified the new prices when I thought they’re just trying to be higher quality / gourmet type niche shop and went ahead and ordered a large Reese’s snowstorm. Mine came out way below the top of the cup with very minimal toppings. Same thing two totally different outcomes. I spent 8.75 on a disappointment. Especially considering the beauty snowstorm I saw right before mine. Whip if you read this start to focus on the quantity and quality of your items with consistency. If you’re charging top dollar every item that comes out that window should be in the best shape. Last year my large cone was 2-3 times the size and nearly half the price. This is disappointing. I will seldom come here now when I used to be a frequent flyer. You’ve lost a lot of my business and respect and I will not support boosting your reputation any more. I used to brag about this place, that ship is long sailed.
My first experience here this year the young lady at the window, I think she’s the daughter of someone important there, was just blatantly rude. So lack of...
Read moreI've always had good experiences here but I got a medium lime milkshake today that tasted nothing like lime, or anything other than vanilla. I rarely send food back, but it didn't taste like anything at all and was maybe the worst milkshake I've ever tasted. So I brought it back to the window and asked for something else. I asked for a small snowstorm, which they said no to, probably because the snowstorms are more expensive. That's fine.
They offered me another shake, which is why they are getting two stars instead of one. So I ordered a salted caramel shake. This was slightly better than the lime but again tasted like a basic vanilla shake with the slightest hint of caramel and no discernable saltiness.
The girl at the counter told me that I was probably remembering their key lime ice cream instead of the shake. I found this to be a pretty condescending statement. I know the difference between hard ice cream and a milkshake. They gave me an irritated look when I asked for a replacement as if I was trying to scam them. I would go there again but not...
Read moreI was excited to see this open up on W. 12th St. The original location was closer to downtown. This location is convenient and closer to home for a quick trip. Good sized parking lot so no issues finding space. Plenty of tables to sit outdoors. Service has been friendly and the line moved quickly. Decided on their one of a kind Blue Moon vanilla twist soft serve. The small was a good sized cone, no complaints there. The Blue Moon flavor is unique, I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but it's good. They have hard ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes and all look good. Needless to say I'm sure it'll become a habit...
