Bob's Brainfreeze - Premium Shave Ice — Restaurant in Millcreek

I’ve come to Bob’s every day for over 10 years. This year you guys have done something weird. Your flavors are all watered down or something, they are like four shades lighter than previous years, and taste like chapstick. (See this years photo and last years. Same flavor.) And you raised your prices. I’m so sad, because I brought different friends every day for years to come to Bob’s. I’ve tried probably 10 times this year hoping it was just a fluke. But your flavors continue to be watered down and yuck. Last night was my last try. I threw away my chapstick flavored snowcone and went to Hokulia. Whatever you’ve tried with the flavors you should go back to the normal stuff, because I’m genuinely sad Bob’s is...

One year ago I gave this place a 1 star review. It tasted like frozen pool water and we threw them away after a few bites. This year the new owner reached out to me to right the wrong. We came back and tried again and it definitely has improved!

Increased 3 stars based on good flavor (although there were a few bites that were a little pool watery… so I think the ice may just be overly filtered. I’m not sure what’s happening there), the kindness of the new owner, and the speed at which the snow cones were made by staff.

I cannot give a 5 star review at this time because my wife is very sad there is no Pink...

This week I called the number tied to Bob's on google and an owner answered. We were having a family/neighborhood party and ran out of some items we needed right in the middle of the event. He explained they don't normally sell them but would help me out and offered them for free, just suggested I give the worker there a tip as "they work so hard". I was genuinely so impressed and it was refreshing to hear an adult praise the hard work of a young kid vs. the constant ragging on them I usually hear. I've been a Millcreek resident for years and hope Bob's stays forever. SO...
