TLDR: Poor execution on the sides and horrible value. Skip the combo and shakes, just burgers.
Burgers were great, and fired to order. Medium on the inside which is what you want if the patties are made from scratch, which it looks like they do. We got a Hawaiian and Bavaria. Great sauces and toppings. Awesome buns. Only negative I'd say was the too thick tomato slice. About two times too thick. These burgers are thick enough. Could also slice the half sausage on the Bavarian into 3rds to make it thinner.
Now the sides... oh boy.
We paid +$3 to substitute for onion rings and +$2 for sweet potato fries. We got 5 onion rings total. That's $1.30 per onion ring - absurd. Arctic Circle just around the corner has onion rings twice as good at half the price.
The sweet potato fries were soaked in oil, soggy, and not at all crispy on the outside. I had to re-fire them in our air fryer. Our air fryer had a coat of oil left on it afterwards. Their oil was not to temp and they pulled them too early. Also had about half a sweet potato worth of fries for $7. I'd understand the low amount if the execution or quality was there. It wasn't.
Got two shakes for about $13. Go to Arctic Circle again and get a shake twice as good for half the price.
I'll come back for a burger for sure. Just heading next door to Arctic Circle for the rest...

First time at Burgers by Guayoyo and it did not disappoint!! Tucked away in a little plaza next to the WGU campus, we found this wonderful burger restaurant that features burgers inspired by different parts of the world! The menu has so many different kinds of burgers to choose from, as well as fries, appetizers, shakes, and beers.
We tried the La Capo and La Pekin, both were so delicious! We were given Burger Passports by the staff and trying out every burger, proving feedback and getting each one signed off will earn you a free burger on your 10th visit! It's a fun and unique way to come back and try more of the menu.
This is a hybrid full service restaurant with very quick service. Loved my first experience and can't wait...
Read moreI agree with others that this place could be 6 stars, at least 5.5! Super unique menu of burgers that actually taste unique from one another and are for real delicious. Both the sweet potato fries and regular fries were 🔥. I past on La Campo only by request to share the pork burger and Hawaiian. The Hawaiian was perfectly med-rare and the pork belly thick and delicious. The atmosphere has all the NYC charm you can imagine but in the even more unique style of Venezuelan street art. This place should be well above Lucky 13 or other best burgers in SLC in conversations. I live nearby and have been disappointed by the local faves like Iceberg for some time. If you’re nearby swing around the corner to 7th and make this your spot instead. We were more than...
