This Wendy's gets 1 star because it won't allow me to give 0 stars. After waiting in the drive through for 15 minutes, I ordered 2 Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers, 1 4-piece spicy chicken nuggets with bbq sauce, 1 order of medium fries, 2 garden side salads (both with ranch), 1 lemonade, and 1 kid frosty (I promise this wasn't just for me). After I finally received "my" food, I drove back home. Once I arrived, I found that what I received wasn't even close to what I ordered: 1 burger that I assumed to be a JBC (I'll get to this later), 1 6-piece spicy chicken nuggets with honey bbq sauce (2 free nuggets! no complaint there), no fries, 1 garden side salad with ranch, 1 bbq chicken salad, 1 lemonade, and 1 kid frosty. So... I drove back to Wendy's. When I tried to go inside (seeing that the drive-thru was still quite long and not wanting to wait) I found that the doors were locked (it was 9:45 and the lobby wasn't scheduled to close until 10:00). So I had the privilege of waiting in the drive through again. When I finally was able to get to the window and explain the situation, the staff was friendly and apologetic. They gave me a large order of fries instead of the medium I had ordered, and the garden side salad and JBC that I was missing. When I got home, I opened up the wrapper for the original burger that I received, and had assumed was a JBC, only to find that it was just a cheeseburger. I also realized that they had neglected to give me ranch with the second side salad. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had at Wendy's, though I am not entirely surprised because this location is generally very slow at processing orders, but I've never had them screw up an order this poorly. AND they didn't give me a receipt, so I can't go write this review on Wendy's website. AND the staff reeked of smoke when they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust left there where I waited SEVERAL minutes before greeted at the drive thru, whomever was in charge of the headset and taking the order was, to say the least, pushy and kept talking over me while I was trying to order. Once at the window things are normal, I ordered some Boo Books as well, the food was fast but when I accepted the order, I looked at the food, just because the ordering was so bad I wanted to be sure it was correct, plus there was fresh friesā¦. The ordering was missing the nuggets, one fry and all the sauces. We each asked for a biggie bag. Both with BACON double stacks. So I mentioned that the order was incomplete. Of course the staff put together the missing items but not what I paid for. No bacon on our burgers, burgers that looked like they had been sitting for quite some time and only sauces for one meal. What got me the most was that the gentleman that I spoke with at the window, VERY much shifted the fault into a supposed coworker that apparently wasnāt even there to be properly coached OR defend herselfā¦. It is very likely I will not go back there. I understand it is a rough economic time and lots of staffs are skeleton crews but it seemed like there was a LOT of chaos for not that many...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent later at night, the service was fast, but my burger was completely under-cooked. It was lightly seared on the outside, but the inside was completely pink and the center was still raw. I swallowed a couple bites before noticing, and just threw it all up half an hour later, I feel very sick. I understand you want to give fast service, and late at night you might be trying to close up, but you cannot just poison people like this. That's what you're doing, poisoning people. They specifically cover this when you get your food handlers permit, which is required in order to cook in a restaurant.
I am not unsympathetic to working in a restaurant, I've worked as a dishwasher, cashier, and grill cook in many restaurants with a cumulative of at least 5 years in the restaurant industry myself. But this is unacceptable. Resenting the fact you have a customer near your closing time, but within your stated open hours is not a justification to poison them. If you hate your job that much, than someone else should be doing it. I am filing a complaint with the county health department. If the owner contacts me I'll provide him with the date and time I went through the drive thru so he can ensure the quality of...
