This place is so special, it's more than just food, it's a whole experience. I'm so glad I finally got a chance to check it out, if you're wanting to check it out as well I definitely recommend reservations as they get super busy. We made reservations via the OpenTable app a week prior, this place is super delicious so it gets booked up fast. They have lots of parking available and even some outdoor seating if you want some fresh air. We like to dress up a little for date night but you can definitely get by in a pair of jeans here if you need to.
Even from outside, as you're walking up you can smell the amazing food. Once you're inside the atmosphere just totally takes you across the sea to Italy. There was even some amazing singing at one point and everyone joined in that knew the song, it was SO fun. You can tell that they take great pride in everything they do. Even looking at my photos you can see the great care they took in plating our meals, they really love what they do and it absolutely shines through.
Our waiter Stein was amazing, he was super attentive and best of all he recommended THE best Rosé that complemented our entire meal. He kept our glasses full and was super patient with me when I couldn't make up my mind. Don't be shy, let em know what you like and they can make excellent recommendations.
We started with the Arancino and Caprese salad and both were so amazing. The Arancino was huge, definitely more than enough for the two of us. The outside was hot and crispy and the inside was super cheesy and had the tastiest Bolognese sauce. They served it on top of two different sauces, both were amazing but I liked the Alfredo the most. The Caprese was so fresh, the house made cheese was absolutely delicious and they paired it with some really fresh veggies. I also can't fail to let you know about the amazing pesto they serve with the bread, try to leave room for pasta y'all! Also the Antipasto looked like an absolute work of art, I have to try it next time.
For my main dish I had the toughest time deciding, everything looked and smelled delicious. I finally made up my mind and went for the Spaghetti Cozze e Vongole. I haven't had this dish since I lived in Naples, I'd been avoiding having it stateside because I didn't want to be disappointed, WELL WELL WELL, let me tell you, this was anything but a disappointment. The presentation was a work of art, the mussels and clams were delicious and the sauce they served it with was just heavenly. The pasta had a perfect texture and the portion was very large, enough for leftovers.
My Husband had the fish of the day which was a delicious grilled Branzino served with equally delicious grilled veggies. The flavor and texture of the fish was absolutely perfect. Again the portion was surprisingly large and enough for leftovers, the food was so delicious the leftovers didn't even make it to the fridge tho. We couldn't leave without trying the Tiramisu which was again, a little masterpiece. They serve it in such a beautiful way and it tastes super dreamy, I definitely recommend saving room for it.
We had SUCH a great time and are so happy to add this to our list of favorite date nights spots, thank you to all of the staff for such an amazing experience, we can't wait to come back and try all of...
Read moreLike many have mentioned, the location of this restaurant throws you for a loop. It’s located in a strip mall near a grocery store. This quaint restaurant is one for the books. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. Faye was our waitress, and she was great. We had a lot of tableside experiences, and she provided a lot of history about the restaurant and its products. She also shared a few jokes and was overall very personable.
We were immediately asked about any food allergies or time restraints they should be aware of to make our experience the best. We were provided a list of recommendations—and we tried all of them.
We started our meal with Polpette Della Nonna, or meatballs in tomato sauce served with homemade bread. So good! Everyone at the table agreed we would get it again. We moved on to a Caesar salad that was prepared tableside, and that was a cool experience. Faye came out with all of the ingredients and prepared it right before our eyes. We split the salad between two people, and that was plenty.
Next, we ordered the Signature Carbonara, another tableside item. They brought out the big Parmesan cheese wheel and even played with fire—can it get better? We also ordered the Pachero Pancetta E Burrata, which includes a pistachio cream sauce. Both pastas were delicious. Going back and forth between the two, it was hard to decide which was my favorite. When we come back, we will definitely order both dishes again.
We ended our meal with the Bistecca Alla Toscana, or the Piedmontese ribeye. Again, this was prepared tableside with fire. The meat was cooked to perfection and had a great blend of flavor and aroma.
We left the restaurant completely stuffed, with leftovers to enjoy later. I would definitely come back. A few recommendations: make a reservation, come hungry, and expect higher prices—but...
Read more$200 for Strip Mall Dinning & incredibly Rude service. They brought us out 3 tiny slices of bread for 4 of us! We asked if we could get more bread (so we all could try a slice). Our waitress (Katrina/Kristina? D) said yes and never brought more out. How Weird. Again we spent over $200! We ordered the Caesar Salad and asked if we could have the lemon vinaigrette dressing instead of Caesar because we could not eat Caesar dressing. (Due to Anchovies) She made the salad and then as we were eating it we noticed it may have been Caesar. I asked her when she walked by which dressing it was and she said she had no idea it just came from the Back. Luckily we were not allergic. I wanted to order the famous dish made in the cheese wheel. I asked if I could just do the noodles and not add the meat she said she wouldn’t be able to do that. She had ZERO clue about anything on the menu. She was beyond beyond rude. If you have any type of food allergy or any type of preference on what you are actually eating I would say Do Not eat here. I thought of calling a manager to tell them how horrible our experience was and then I thought there is nothing that needs to be made right. People should be warned about eating at restaurants like this. I find it helpful to read reviews. It would never be worth a Gift card to go back because you could not pay me to eat here again and be treated so Rude. It was Awkward. The Hostess was actually Nice and helpful with the menu when we arrived but after that.. The Worst. I don’t plan on e-mailing and I will not ever be back so no need for a response. You should switch that server to a buser and promote the other two busers to servers. They...
