Their stated business hours are that they are open until 10pm. I placed an online order at 8:25pm, and the delivery driver showed up to pick up the pizzas at 8:45–the location was CLOSED. No sign posted that they had to close early for whatever reason. Doors locked, lights off, nobody answering knocks or the phone, nobody at the drive thru…. This is the second time this has happened! The first time, I was able to get through to somebody at the store the next day, and they assured me that this is not how they operate business and that they will sometimes lock the doors, for safety reasons. That’s fine. But if you are going to be closed, you don’t need to accept orders online and take peoples money or cancel orders without notification. I gave them a year, thinking things would be better now. Everybody has bad days. But please believe, I will never, ever do business with this store again. If you decide to give them a shot, set your expectations lower than low. I have never left a bad review for anyone, but this is...
Read moreThe food itself is usually a hit or miss regardless of what you pay for (being cheap). Sometimes it’s freshly baked and perfect, other times it’s over baked, been sitting for an hour, or sliced with extremely different sized pieces. I know their pizzas are $6, and I’ve taken that into consideration with this review. Taking off 3 stars is due to the service and poor management. Regardless of time or business, they often never have anything already ready, contrary to their “hot and ready” slogan. I frequently will go on my way home and ask if either a cheese or pepperoni is ready, and more times than not I’m disappointed. This location also doesn’t follow the hours on the website. They close as much as an hour early at times. I don’t expect Chic-Fil-A level of customer service, but employees here give off the impression that you’re a burden on them for ordering. I’ve since switched to ordering Dominos online for pickup $2 more and I...
Read moreI never thought I would be rating a budget pizza chain, long known for their five dollar pizzas that were ready for immediate carry-out with five stars...but this lowly franchise somehow has become a place that delivers consistency, surprising quality, and has staff that genuinely cares about each customer. Most nights I admit I frequented this location because I could use the drive-up window and never have to leave my car...a plus when wayyyy too tired to deal with people. The staff was very friendly, articulate, did their jobs with an energetic focus that you rarely see at the convenience food level. The made-to-order pizzas tasted fresh, flavorful, far better than a much pricier local pizza insitution located in the historic downtown district of this small college town. If I still lived in middle Georgia, I would still be buying this pizza-and not just out of convenience,...
