This was my first time at this grocery store and when me and my four-year-old got there the place was very clean and organized. We love the prices. My four year-old is really friendly so he was communicating with some of the customers. Everything and everyone was operating out of joy until we got to the cashier. At the time, Megan was my cashier. She was ringing my stuff up and my son put his car (car from our house) on the scanner and instead of giving him the car, she threw it in the buggy with all the food so he starts crying for his car and she sat there with a little grin on her face. I realize I was short $10 so I told her I had to call my husband if she can give me a sec print the receipt out and Iâll wait on the side so the manager came over and she printed out the receipt, so once I got the money situated, I got back in line and my son was still in the cart we were using because she had already put the groceries in another cart and I put it to the side. so once we get back in line and itâs our turn coming up I asked her if they do points like if we can type in our phone number and get points. She said âno we do not do that.â And it wasnât in a friendly customer service Lol its SAD how ppl will take there madness out on complete strangers that did nothing to youâŠthen on top of that, had the nerve to ask me if I can leave the cart next to her for the next customerâŠ. So I kindly gave her a blank stare and walked off with the cart. Megan if you do not like your job, you should definitely start looking somewhere else and stop trying to make people experience unpleasant, especially people who have children with special needs. Overall, itâs a nice store and great prices. They should just do better with who...
Read moreI have been shopping at this Aldi for about 2 years now. Usually the selection is pretty good. I like to get produce here. My main issue is the staff. Itâs hit or miss to get a friendly employee. Iâve just kind of brushed it off until today. I take my almost 2 year old shopping with me, and he sits in a special seat inside the buggy. Most of the time, the cashier will wait until Iâve put my stuff on the conveyor belt before ringing anything up, so that I can use the same buggy, keeping me from having to go through the hassle of taking my child and his seat out of the buggy, all with one hand. Itâs hard. Today, I asked the cashier if she would mind letting me do that, and she just rolled her eyes at me and stopped ringing my items up. She was rude to me, but was extremely polite to the woman behind me, telling her she could go to the next register, in a much more pleasant tone that she had with me. I only had about 5 items left to put on the conveyor belt, so it wasnât as if she would wait long. When finished, she handed me my receipt, I said thank you, she said nothing. I said have a nice day, she said nothing. One associate on the floor spoke to customers while they shopped; the others acted as if they were annoyed and we were in their way. This is very common in this store, Iâm starting to notice. I donât expect you to give the red carpet treatment, but if a customer greets you, or speaks to you, you should at least...
Read moreWent today at 1 pm to get groceries like we do weekly with my Service Dog. Upon getting to check out I am told I have to leave immediately by the cashier that my service dog who is sitting at my feet not doing anything wrong is not welcome in this establishment. I stated I would leave after I paid for my groceries and TeQuawna the cashier stated she could not check me out because my service dog wasn't allowed in her store that I could return at a later time without my service dog and re shop for my groceries. By Federal & State law my service dog can not be denied entry. I will not be shopping at this Aldis location anymore unless the cashier is highly reprimanded of fired. And there is an apology made publicly to not only myself and my service dog but to all customers with service animals that have likely been treated...
