Chick-fil-A has built quite a reputation for excellence in multiple categories and has changed the game for the entire fastfood industry. This particular establishment off of route 113 in Millsboro should be held forward as an exemplary example of why Chick-fil-A is widely considered one of the best--if not the best--in the business!
My wife and I ordered our breakfast on the mobile app easily and found it being brought out as we walked in. We had originally planned on just using their restroom briefly but when seeing how clean the lobby looked and how quickly we had gotten our food, we decided to sit down.
Of course the chicken biscuits and hash browns were delicious! The chicken was piping hot, the biscuits flaky and soft, and the hash browns the perfect crispy counter bite!
In the lobby, each table was neatly set and cleaned by the staff after each guest left. One touch that I loved was the small basket by the utensils for putting back unused sauces. What a clever idea!

Read moreHorrible experience, was in the middle of a 6 hour car trip and stopped for dinner, on 5/30 at 6PM. The girl who took our order was great, and then we were waiting by the pick up line. Everyone who ordered after us was getting their food, so we asked one of the 10 employees working just standing around, and she didn't even check she just said it was coming. Then another employee asked what we ordered, we told her and then asked for the receipt I had already thrown away. We told her exactly what it was she went back and came back saying no one will make it unless we had the receipt. I told her it would be right on top of the trash since I just thrown it away, or I said just ask the employee who took our order. She didn't believe us so she went through the trash and found it. Then stood there trying to make excuses on how it got lost. We asked for a manager and another employee standing there said if we can even find one. No one ever went and got the manager, then finally a younger kid walked up just grabbed the receipt and told her he would make it. We got our food about 20 minutes after ordering it without...
Read moreLoyal Chick-fil-A customer, love everything about the company and products but this may be the most inconsistent location in terms of service and food quality that I visit and I'm on road a lot between MD and DE. Most recent visit, no straws for 4 drinks, food was maybe lukewarm, chicken club had maybe half the cut of meat (like part of it broke off on the grill and they still decided to go with it), no sauce for the sandwich, salad tossed from being handed out sideways. Visit before that I ordered and salad and got a sandwich? Sometimes everything is good to go but it's 50/50 at this location... in the age a grab and go I just don't have time to spin around and walk in to correct but management really needs to work on the consistency of food presentation, service and reduction in the employee errors.
