Hunan Wok — Restaurant in Milltown

I have ordered multiple times since my past reviews. I have nothing but great things to say about Hunan Wok. As always the food is hot, fresh, correct and delivered on time. I'm extremely picky about my food and I have no complaints. This was my second time ordering and everything was perfect just like the first time. The food was hot the order was correct and my special instructions for extra sauce and extra yellow mustard packets was also correct . The food was delivered right on time period. I love that they have an option for the hot and sour soup of the degree of spiciness you want, as well as the chicken and garlic sauce. This was my first time ordering and I decided to ignore the negative reviews. I had my order delivered and I didn't have to wait long. I ordered the hot and sour soup which was delicious. I ordered a small chicken and broccoli and garlic sauce and the size was perfect the sauce was good there was plenty of sauce. The broccoli was fresh and crunchy and the chicken was good. I also ordered the crab rangoon they were large they were crispy not overcooked and had a good amount of filling in them. They weren't the little small pinched at the top kind that some of the other restaurants have. The prices were good and I have to say I will be ordering again. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I called in for delivery, ordered sesame chicken combination with a soda and crab rangoon's with sweet and sour sauce. After being told 30-40 minutes, it took them an hour and 15 minutes to deliver my order and I am less than a half mile from the store. When they got here I was not given utensils, and when I asked the driver he pulled a uncovered plastic fork out of his center console and handed it to me. My soda and sweet and sour sauce was also forgotten. I was told they would be back with the rest of my order in 20 minutes and 45 minutes after that a different person showed up with my sauce and soda. Not only was this a bad delivery experience, the food was not good at all. The pork fried rice was plain, and the crab rangoon's were disgusting. I recently ordered two steamed chicken and broccoli from this establishment, hoping for a healthy and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. I was shocked to find that the portion of chicken was only 5 ounces, which felt significantly smaller than expected, especially considering the price.

However, what truly ruined my meal was the discovery of a maggot on the broccoli. This was not only disgusting but also deeply concerning in terms of hygiene and food safety. Needless to say, I immediately disposed of the contaminated broccoli and lost my appetite entirely.
