The Williams Women & their merry helpers have created a darling space that evelopes you in a warm hug as you cross the threshhold. The scents the sounds the utter enchantment of the kind hearts & warm souls that pour their inner essences into this disarming diamond of a shoppe will have you smiling as long as you want. I recently attended High Tea with my best friend. Next month she is turning 70. We are having her party AT A SPOONFUL OF SUGAR. It’s a HIGH TEA. I have never seen her this excited about ANYTHING. I am just as excited. Kenzi & I have had a spectacular rapport for over a decade. It has been wonderful to see her come into her own. Her Mom standing right beside her. I used to work in Edgewood for many years and when I moved away to Olympia, I knew I would miss this little gem. I used to frequent this cafe multiple times a week for coffee and lunch and the ladies there are just incredible people; they always brightened my day with great laughs and conversation. When I needed to resume chiropractic care recently, I didn't hesitate to resume treatment in Edgewood at my old office and immediately I knew I would have a great excuse to visit them again. To my surprise they were still there and my first visit back brought back so much happiness seeing them! They've been there almost 10 years now and with the wonderful way they conduct business backed with great coffee and food items ( their menu is OUTSTANDING you must try everything!) they will be in business for many many more years! I would give a 5 star, but haven’t had a great experience every single time. Just most of the time 😁 The food is fantastic. Drinks are inconsistently made though. Not sure why 🤷‍♀️ Sometimes they taste like they are missing an ingredient or are more sweet or bitter depending on the barista. I did get a white ghost drink from them and asked for a replacement because it tasted and smelled like jalapeños with sweet milk. I got the replacement and it tasted and smelled the same. My sister agreed it smelled and tasted like jalapeño and my husband said it smelled and tasted like sour milk, soooo.. 🤷‍♀️ I just gave up after that. The barista was really nice about the replacement so I’m not mad, just grossed out. Don’t recommend getting that drink (white ghost).
