Buds Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Milton

How this place is above 1 star baffles me. Me and my boyfriend have been going here for years and it has been consistently horrible. We always think “Hey, maybe it won’t be so bad this time!” and are quickly reminded that it is. They simply DO NOT serve you. Especially if you are trying to play a game of pool or are out in the patio. They’re consistently understaffed and the wait time is horrendous. People are constantly walking out unserved and not once being asked what they’d like to drink. The place is FILTHY!! The booths are at least 30 years old and smell like wet dog and are torn all over. As other viewers have said, they DO NOT clean here. They shoved in some new tables and a step and called that a renovation. What a joke! They consistently close early; even when the bar is half full. It seems the staff here is simply not interested in money or tips. Otherwise the service wouldn’t be so horrible and nonexistent. The food is subpar and if you complain about it, they will come out and inspect your plate as if you’re trying to scam them. How this place is even open is beyond me. For the longest time they have been the only bar in town. Here’s to hoping that The Mill and Johnny’s in Puyallup put them out...

Quant little gem in the heart of the Milton/edgewood area. Went there for a mid day late breakfast. First off it’s a bar and is very clearly a bar when you pull up to the place. Walk in and it’s a complete dive bar feel, which in no means is a bad thing, but I wanted to say that cuz I think people go places like this and forget that. This isn’t a 5 star establishment, but 4 stars for a dive bar is top notch!

My wife and I shared the biscuits & gravy which comes with hash browns and ordered a couple eggs on the side. It was def enough food for the both of us. Again this isn’t el gaucho, this is hole in the wall food but in my opinion cooked to the best of their ability. The food had flavor and was good enough for me to finish off my wife’s food as well.

Only one bartender/server while we were in there and it was quite busy so I thought she was being stretched thin on what she could cover but she was amazing and did a great job!

If you’re looking for a dive bar like I was, and you just want a meal and a drink def check this place out. The drinks are strong and the food is affordable! Plus if Trish is your server you’ll be welcomed by a lovely attitude with the best service she can give! Go...

I recently moved to Milton and thought that Buds would be my new watering hole. The first time was great my sister and I had lunch there the fries are amazing. I couldn't wait to come back. A group of us came back the next day or so and we were ignored by Christine we even told another bartender she said to just order from her. It happens every time this lady just refuses to serve us. Last night we went after work for dinner and Christine again was rude we asked for menus we got one and she never took our order. Our friend ordered and finished his food in front of us! We said screw this and went outside to finish our drinks Christine came out walked past us and told another group of people she was closing the kitchen in case they were hungry!!! My boyfriend had worked a 14 hour day with no lunch and I said i'd take him for dinner at Buds. What a special treat that was. I wonder what I did to this lady? She must have me mistaken for someone else??? I mean I just moved to Milton. I don't even know...
