Pros: -Friendly staff -Served pretty quickly (a server saw my party of 4 come in, so we could have just gotten lucky) -French fries were very good, crisp and well seasoned. Superior to Cajun style fries from Five Guys -Portion sizes were okay, mufaletta was enormous -Staff came by a couple of times to ask if we needed refills on our drinks -Prices are okay for half sandwiches and salads for the amount of food you get, whole sandwiches are rather pricey. A whole mufaletta is massive, but it costs $15.

Cons: -Seat yourself policy means that you will be waiting to be served for at least a few minutes -Some menu items are lackluster (I had the potato po'boy and it wasn't very good and my friend didn't like the seafood gumbo either) -Sandwiches are a mush fest and the roast beef gravy had big nasty gray bits of meat in it (looked like gristle) -Seating at tables felt cramped and chairs were uncomfortable -Interior was dingy and there was loud music playing -Menu consists primarily of fried foods -Drinks came in small red solo cups, so you will need refills pretty quickly -Long gaps between ordering food and getting food as well as paying the check and getting the receipt -Small staff (I only saw three servers) -Substitutions cost extra and additional toppings cost extra for each

The Big Cons: -Restroom is small and absolutely filthy. There is only one toilet and one urinal in the men's bathroom. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Someone had vomited on the floor and it had not been cleaned up properly. I could still see and smell it. It looked like whoever had tried to clean it up had only used paper towels. After I went in there I saw other people go to the men's room and then rush back to their table looking horrified. As far as I could tell, there was only the one men's bathroom. -I got sick from this place. Yes, really.

Other: -There is a 20% service charge for parties...

First impression of this restaurant was decent. It’s always neat to see a place re-done. Haven’t been here since it was the Cutting Board several years ago, but my family and I are always willing to try a new place near home. After looking at the menu, we realized that the food was way overpriced. The music was blasting loud and was extremely obnoxious (at 12 lunchtime.) I can understand that the owner probably wants this place to have New Orleans ā€œfeelā€ to it, but when you can’t have a conversation with your family, let alone hear your server, then that’s not a very welcoming environment. My father-in-law asked nicely for the music to be turned down and our waitress did turn it down. But then a man walked by and turned it back up. This man was in casual clothes and hanging out at the bar and seemed chummy with the staff the whole time he was there. From the looks of things, I’m assuming he was the owner. (He had walked to the kitchen too.) Then a younger boy who was tending the bar turned it up again more. Then we had to ask again for it to be turned down. We got the feeling that this is more of a place for the owner to just sit around and socialize with his young employees at the bar. In no way was this establishment welcoming or comfortable to us. The food was mediocre and definitely didn’t match up with the price that was paid for it. We even saw a couple come in, read over the menu and leave. Our server was a polite younger girl and did nothing wrong, we are overall disappointed with the management and the environment and price of food. We will not be back. Don’t waste...

I have driven past this place for quite awhile and never stopped here. I did stop here when I was invited to my grand daughters birthday gathering.

I am told they have good seafood but I am not a seafood person. If you like oysters I am told this is place.

I had a burger, which is my favorite. It was better than I had expected. I really enjoyed the burger.

The place was clean in all public areas so I felt as if the kitchen area was not dirty because of the building's overall cleanliness. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained despite the age of facility.

The service was okay but I believe the place was busier than normal with our table of 8 persons and the other two groups that were there.

My one gripe was the process of drink refills. Everyone is given their drinks in red plastic cups. Whan the server asked about drink refills all red cups were gathered and taken away. When they were returned (refilled) I was not confident I received my cup back. So I did not drink anymore as I was fairly sure server had no way to accurately track who had which cup. With the Coronavirus mask madness going on all over world I silently shook my head at the 'superspreader' event going on.

Service was not bad. Burger was very good. Place was clean... but didn't like my cup being taken away enmass and returned. I would rather my drink cup never leaving my presence.

Overall a...

Great and friendly customer service, the girls are great! I ordered a combo meal after looking at the menu online, it does say prices subject to change, actual price as of June 2022 is twice what you see advertised online, just an fyi. I tried the gator bites, stuffed crab shell, and mac n cheese. Gator bites are fantastic, highly recommend! The "spicy" red gravy is delicious but not spicy at all so don't be afraid to give it a try! I was a bit surprised with the stuffed shell, it didn't look at all like the picture and seemed to be more of a lump of minced crab and spices breaded and fried. It too was pretty good just a bit salty. The mac n cheese was a bit of a surprise, it looked like spaghetti noodles, the flavor was great but had very little of it (or cheese in general) and there was an unappealing amount of grease pooling at the bottom. I had planned to try most of their menu, but I don't think I'll be swinging by again despite living across the street unless it's to accompany someone who wants to go. It's good just not great for that price.

***Second Review-Just came in again and had the Crawfish Monica over Tasso and also a half dozen Garlic Lemon Oysters. Wonderful as always! *** First Review-This is the first time I have ever heard of this place. A friend of mine and I were driving to find something to eat in Milton and saw it was open on a Sunday. Rebecca was an amazing server. We did not have to wait to eat long at all and our food came out in a timely fashion. I definitely recommend the "fried everything platter" (or whatever it was called under the basket section of the menu.) Fried oysters, fried crawfish tails, fried alligator bites, fried frog legs and fried shrimp with five different sauces on this platter. Plus you have to have the baked macaroni and cheese and the potato salad (that is not on their menu yet). Rebecca thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!

I decided to head to Milton today to try Cosse's Place to try a little taste of New Orleans. Looking at the menu, I was excited at the choices. I decided to start with frog legs, my friend ordered baked oysters with lemon, butter and parmesan cheese. The frog legs were fried perfectly but it seems that they forgot to season them. But they were plump and beautiful. The oysters were amazing, cooked to perfection. Next up we both ordered the fried trigger fish with french fries, seasoned and cooked beautifully! Our server was Erica, she was awesome! She never forgot about us and offered suggestions, loved her! Oh, don't let me forget the bread pudding that I ordered to go. Made from scratch and so damn good. A really delicious meal. šŸ˜‹
