My wife and I made a Saturday date out of checking out Levantine grocery stores in the Milwaukee area. We had three stops on our list: Breadhouse, Holy Lands Grocey and Attari grocery.

Our first stop was Breadhouse. When we walked in I was tempted to call it a wrap because who needs anything after you go here? While Bread house isn’t a grocer it sure has every bakery need you’d desire, if you’re cooking Levantine food. The have fresh baklava, Turkish bread, pita and a variety of Arab baked goods.

Additionally, they have a kitchen and prepare a wild variety of goods to eat there including Mediterranean salad, Baba ganoush, samosas and much more.

We ordered two samosas, one meat and one chicken as well as a piece of baklava.

The samosas were better than anything I’ve had ever: light, crispy and perfectly cooked. Unbelievably good 5/5. The baklava was a walnut variety and again, perfect, flaky and very pleasant 5/5

We also bought several pieces of Turkish bread which added a stop on our list: G. Groppi market so we could buy marinara and fresh mozzarella to make pieces with our Turkish bread.

Based on our needs we could’ve ended our day there but we...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bread House in Wisconsin, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm, inviting atmosphere that MJ has carefully cultivated. The rustic decor, combined with the smell of freshly baked bread, sets the perfect tone for a delightful meal.

The menu at Bread House is a testament to the owners passion for quality and creativity. Every dish I tried was a masterpiece. The bread, of course, is the star of the show—perfectly crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, with a variety of flavors that cater to every palate. The sandwiches are generously filled and bursting with flavor.

Beyond the incredible food, the service at Bread House is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. MJ’s passion and dedication to providing an exceptional dining experience are evident in every aspect of the restaurant.

If you’re in Wisconsin and looking for a place that feels like home with food that nourishes the soul, I highly recommend visiting Bread House. I can’t wait to return for another...

Upon entering the restaurant, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained it appeared. To my surprise, the owner himself was the one greeting customers at the door, which I found to be a very welcoming touch. I decided to order the Zinger, as it was recommended by my wife. I must say, she was right - the sandwithc was absolutely delicious! As an added bonus, the owner even offered me a free beverage, which I thought was a very kind gesture.

As I was getting ready to leave the restaurant, the owner approached me to ask for feedback on the food. He specifically wanted to know how he could improve the experience for my next visit. I gave him a few suggestions based on my own preferences, and he was very attentive, taking notes on what I had to say. I was impressed by his willingness to listen and make changes based on customer feedback.

Overall, I had a great experience at the restaurant. The food was fantastic, the owner was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. I wish the restaurant continued success and look forward to...

We were debating on where to go for brunch and after reading so many good reviews, we decided to give this place a try — and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and clean, which is always a great first impression. The food truly reminded me of back home — comforting, flavorful, and freshly made. You can tell they put care into every dish, and it really brought a sense of nostalgia with each bite. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and was served hot and fresh. The staff was also a highlight of our visit. One of the employees kindly answered all our questions with patience and honesty, making us feel right at home. It's clear that customer service is a priority here. Another bonus — they also offer takeout, so if you're in need of a quick lunch option, they've got you covered. If you're looking for a solid breakfast or brunch spot with delicious food, a clean atmosphere, and genuinely kind staff, I highly recommend this place. We definitely don’t regret our choice and will be back for sure!

I hardly know where to start with Bread House it was so darn good. From the young lady who took our order to the young man (owner?) who made sure multiple times to ask how our meal was, it was an outstanding experience service-wise. The food? Well, from our first bites to our (over-stuffed) last bites, our food was just so, so good. You can see from the picture that we tried a large number of items and I have to say, each was better than the last. If I have to pick a few faves I would put the beef and tomatoes first- I have no idea how they make that beef so tender but boy oh boy was it good! The next amazing dish was the baba ghanoush. Delicious, tender and smoky- you can actually taste the eggplant unlike most you’ll try. The last to mention is the falafel. I’m a huge falafel fan and Bread House makes the BEST I’ve ever had. Oh my so good- tender on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside with great flavor. I’ll dream of it tonight. Thank you Bread House, we will see you again shortly!
