As a completely new person to the realm of CBD anything, let alone THC, i tried a few sample packs from one of their tents at summerfest back on the 1st of july with no expectations. Reason for this is because as someone who has ADHD as well as AS (Aspergers Syndrome) I wasnt sure how i would react to it if at all, but also as one who is a heavy/long term monster energy drink user.
After trying their some of the sample packs, experimenting with a few different types of cbd, thc, and cbg i believe one of the samplers was, along with talking to their staff person at the summer fest tent, i would have to say the knowledge/transparency these people have is astounding for a newb like myself who knows nothing.
Sample products used: 6 pack whole spectrum cbd gummies 30mg, Lumi gummies hybrid and sativa 3pack each.
In my specific case using both the hybrid & sativa 3 packs, i felt nothing from it, maybe they werent strong enough i dunno, however the whole spectrum 30mg gummies gave me a sense of freedom, control, and peace of mind for the first time in a long time over anxieties/depression thoughts/battles in ways that pill/tablet medications never were able to do.
I of course then ordered a regular container of the same gummies to have more of them. Wasnt too psyched on the price points but for what they do for me they work great. Not sure if the price points of their products are baseline/universal standard for the industry or not but if they were slightly cheaper I'd 5 star this review.
Branching a little further, I made another order recently trying out a few other products, this time ordering the raspberry thc delta 9 gummies as well as the 10 pack of carbon thc superberry's. Using these as their respective packages suggest i have the same mellowed out relaxed state that I do/did with the whole spectrum gummies.
So to wrap this review up I would end with this: in my short use with their products they serve their purpose well, the prices are a little high in my opinion but well worth it. The only other downside that I've personally experienced is that after using some of them, I tend to get a bit of fatigue by like late afternoons or early evenings, which isnt much of an issue for me as someone whos used to the "caffiene crash" feeling.
TLDR: Pros: Value, Taste, Purpose...
Read moreWe used to really really like this spot. Like, we would come in multiple times a week. The employees are so friendly and helpful and it's very relaxing when the music isn't way too loud (which is unfortunately frequent).
However, I cannot recommend this business anymore, after repeatedly witnessing the way management treats employees and customers. I don't like watching the bartenders that made me feel so welcome in the space get openly chewed out for inconsequential details. I REALLY don't like managers being passive aggressive to employees AND customers at the same time (ie: telling an employee to correct customer behavior while making eye contact with customer). Both of these have happened on multiple occasions while we were present in the store.
One bar manager in particular (tattoos and glasses, I think her name is Brook?) gave me and my wife dirty looks almost any time we've encountered her. Also openly the meanest to employees from what I've seen. Really uncomfortable vibes.
Another thing that is extremely alarming as a customer, is knowing how many cameras there are in the bar and how often the owner is watching all of them. Security is one thing, and I totally get that, but several times we would be hanging out for a long evening only to have employees randomly change things about the environment (lights, music volume, etc) and when asked why they told us that it was something the owner was mircomanaging from the cameras (paraphrasing here, I must emphasize how wonderful and professional most bartenders in this establishment have been).
The tonal dissonance between the warm welcome from bartenders and the way management acts is atrocious and I genuinely hope it gets better in the future. I think businesses like this are important and have lots of room to thrive if they step up. But I will no longer be supporting this particular business.
Edit: This review was written by myself as a paying customer with no outside influence. I find it quite concerning that a business would see a critical customer response and find excuses to delegitimize it instead of considering the...
Read moreCanni is the first business I have reviewed in a long time. I say this because I am an inherently lazy individual, and my positive experiences and memorable interactions have motivated me to write this. I was given the suggestion to visit Canni by my Yoga instructor. So when I entered a whopper of a vibe hit me, everyone seemed to be talking, not just in groups, but with each other, like real people. It was one of Canni’s Friday events, almost everyone was painting! Canni does these group painting events, led by a talented local artist who is the size of Lawrence Taylor but as nice as Steph Curry seems. I was immediately attended to by the manager and event planner Brooke. (Brooke will be the only member of Canni’s staff I will mention by name as I don’t have time to mention everyone, but everyone treats you like they have known you for years and totally welcomes you like you been gone for months). Brooke will, and did for me, explain everything Canni has to offer, in a way that allows the customer to follow the path best for them. You will get it when you come, as the Canni offerings are very diverse, from drinks you never knew existed to supplements that really can help improve your life. Brooke surfs on a positive vibe that makes you ask if there is another surfboard. The whole team does. I brought my cranky friend; I love this guy but he is undeniably a crank. He is a regular now, I will try to get him to write a review, as I hate putting words in people’s mouths, but remember how lazy I am, I’d say 30-70 it happens. Another friend of mine, from Germany, wants to replicate the business model as he has never seen a Canni type place in Germany. I could write about all the events. Stuff you can buy and cool back patio, but my advice is to go in and ask for the tour, because even if Brooke is not there, everybody at Canni surfs the positive wave and explains it all clearly, and fun. True fun, real people and a vibe that always leaves me feeling better than when I entered is the Canni brand. Go in and see for yourself, I am going today so you...
