As a long-time "Founding Member," I recently had the opportunity to visit the Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum in Milwaukee, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. Walking into those hallowed halls was nothing short of breathtaking. The sheer magnitude of bobbleheads on display left me in awe. Now, I consider myself a bit of a bobblehead enthusiast with a modest collection of over 200. People often think I'm crazy for having so many. However, the Bobblehead HOF takes it to a whole new level with over 6,000 bobbleheads on display and even more in rotational storage. It's truly a sight to behold. Spending a couple of hours exploring the museum is an absolute delight. The history and uniqueness of each bobblehead, along with the stories behind some of the most sought-after and collectible ones, are simply amazing. I found myself completely engrossed, spending well over an hour just marveling at the displays, from recent additions to ones dating all the way back to the 1950s. If you ever find yourself in Milwaukee and are looking for something fun and fascinating to do, I highly recommend paying a visit to the Bobblehead Hall of Fame & Museum. You won't be disappointed!
This place is freakin' awesome! 1. You must participate in the scavenger hunt. Is it mandatory? No. You'll definitely have fun searching especially if you're competitive. 2. The customer service is impeccable. As soon as we reached the last stair we were greeted with a smile, given the rundown of the format and they answered any questions we had. Kudos to the ladies!!! 3. There's sooooooo many bobbleheads. I knew there was going to be a lot, but not THAT many. Sheesh! They've acquired an impressive collection from every category; Sports, television, movies and etc. It's a lot to take in. 4. There's a coloring area for the little kids. It's so cute! 5. There's a small shop to purchase bobbleheads on site and a tablet to peruse the website. I was too entranced by the Bob Ross bobblehead that I forgot to look at the tablet. I digress. 6. Only $5 to enter. That's it! Cheaper than a combo meal. I'm just saying. It's affordable. 7. Some of the bobbleheads are downright hilarious. There's some that are spot on and others you're thinking, "Who's that man? That looks nothing like....." It's a fun experience.
We had such a great time visiting the Bobble Head Hall of Fame. We are from out of town but everyone greeted us like we were regulars. The lady that attended us at the front desk was really kind and went out of her way to check if she had the items we were looking for in stock. A couple of trains passed by that ended up shaking the bobble heads which was really cool to see!! We saw so many familiar bobble heads and it was funny to see some mimic memes. We purchased a couple of bobble heads and magnets to add to our collection. I’ll definitely recommend this place to family and friends as this is a good place to take your kid or even go with a friend.
Came here on a mini vacation from Chicago with my fiancé. We had such a great time at this museum! It throws you off from the outside but once you're inside, you can see how impressive their collection is! They have over 10,000 bobble heads. My fiancé was very happy with all of the NFL and MLB players on display. They also give you an introduction on how the business started, give you a fun game to do while you're in the museum including finding Waldo!! We managed to complete both activities and we had a great time! I highly recommend to add this spot on your list of places to visit!
This small museum space is a fun diversion if you’re looking for a quirky way to kill 30-60 minutes. Stopped in on a Monday around noon. The staff gave a quick rundown of dos and don’ts (don’t touch, etc) and we watched a short video presentation. Then it’s time to stroll the aisles. There is a scavenger hunt you can participate in to find unique bobble heads. It really is an impressive collection. Lots of fun pop culture stuff and historic antique bobbles. The entry fee was $5 a person. There is also a small store in case you want to bring home a bobble of your own.
I became a member for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame last year and had been waiting a while for the opening of the physical location. My wife and I finally made a trip from Detroit, MI to the museum and we were not disappointed! Phil (and Brad) were extremely accommodating for my trip and were so friendly! The museum had thousands of bobbleheads and completely shattered my expectations! I thought my 80+ collection of bobbleheads was impressive, but their collection blew mine out of the water lol. Thank you guys so much and keep doing what you are doing!
