We were excited to try this place out for the first time after hearing so many good things. Let me tell you, it far exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for your typical wood-fired pizza, you won't find it here. We ordered a classic cheese and also the Fernwood. The pizzas were both on the thinner side, and were perfectly cooked in the wood-fired oven. The crust wasn't like any other pizza crust we have ever had before! It was buttery and had a great crispness to it. The pizza sauce is more on the chunky side and it was delicious! The Fernwood is definitely unique and worth the price (it is the most expensive pizza that they have). My partner and I really enjoyed the pizzas and can't wait to come back and try other items. Aside from pizzas, they have a nice selection of other food items, both for meat lovers and also vegetarians. If my memory serves me correct, they also have vegan and gluten free options as well. The service that we received was really friendly, the atmosphere had a chill vibe, the bathrooms were really fun lol (you'll have to see for yourself to know what I mean) and there were so many plants! We are so happy to have this as a food option when...
Read moreVery well planned and comfortable pizza shop in Bay View! It’s nice to have this addition in our neighborhood. The pizzas come in 10 inch personal sizes so expect to get 1 per person. They also have other food on the menu that looked really good as it came out. The pizza was generally good, though we did not love the crust. The pizza tastes more like a flat bread which is good with the right toppings, like my wife’s pizza pictured with fig. I don’t feel like the crust went well with the supreme pizza and I probably will not have the supreme again, but I am certainly looking forward to coming back and trying other options. My preference of crust does not equate to a lesser rating. Overall, I am glad to have a new local family business come into our neighborhood and offer delicious fresh food and a...
Read moreWe're huge pizza fans and enjoy all kinds, so we were excited to try this spot. We came with a group of 3. I appreciate that they use a lot of high-quality and local/Wisconsin ingredients. The variety and unique toppings were definitely a draw. But personally, I found the thin crust wood-fire was more charred than we would've preferred. And I found some of the toppings to be either too salty or muddled because there was a lot going on. It is quite pricey, but again, I understand that's a fair charge considering the ingredients they use.
Not my favorite pizza I've had, but not bad either! The service was great though, interior was cute and cheeky, and there was plenty of outdoor seating. Would recommend trying out if you want some more interesting and unique...
