Final Approach — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Absolute TERRIBLE experience. Party of 4, seated at a table. We sat for a good 20 - 25 minutes without anyone coming to our table. That is, until the hostess came and asked us to move because they had a larger party coming in that she forgot about. This was not a huge problem since it was a small group of high school friends meeting up and we had plenty to catch up on. We gladly moved tables for her, and told her it was not a problem at all.

It BECAME a problem when we sat at the new table, right next to the one we had already sat at for 20 - 25 minutes and were ignored, for an additional 25-30 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us. I finally waved down the hostess and let her know that NOBODY has come to our table(s) for almost a full hour. Mind you, it was NOT at all busy. If it had been, I still think someone should have checked in at minimum on if we needed drink refills.

The hostess apologized, said she never informed the waitress we were seated (again, it was NOT busy, you would think the waitress would notice that her table had people seated at it). Ok, I am a very laid back person, I understand things happen. We FINALLY saw a waitress after about an hour. We got drinks refilled, and ordered appetizers. Before the appetizers even came out, she wanted to take our dinner order. We informed her we did NOT want our dinner served on top of our appetizers. She assured us that this would not happen, so we ordered.

It took some time for the appetizers to come out, again, no big deal since we had a lot to catch up on. Appetizers finally came out, but we had NO silverware. We again had to flag her down and ask for silverware. Almost immediately, she wanted to serve the soups that came with our dinners. We asked she hold off a little bit. Soups got served and eaten. She THEN comes out to let us know they have no prime rib, which 2 of the 4 of us ordered!! This was their SPECIAL for the night!!! We looked around at the very few people that were in the restaurant eating, and not one of them had prime rib!!

We ended up leaving without ever having our dinners served to us. They didn't comp ANYTHING at all for the horrible situation. We will NEVER return there again, and this was our first time there.

Also, the atmosphere was really nice, UNTIL they had a singer and keyboardist set up and perform at way too loud of a volume for such a small area. TERRIBLE experience, and all of us were in from out of town. We chose this location to meet in the middle....

Final Approach is a casual restaurant and bar. Staff is very friendly and attentive, without hovering or being intrusive.

The food is wonderful. We went on a Monday which is all-you-can-eat BBQ ribs. Unfortunately I was not very hungry by the time we went so I stuck with something lighter - the club wrap, which I had them add ranch to because otherwise it would have been dry. Dry as in sans any type of spread or dressing, the meats and veggies were definitely not dry. Even being a lighter menu option, it is a very large wrap. I could only finish half with my fries. Brought the other half home for lunch today. Tasty.

Others in our group ordered fish, coconut shrimp, pork chops, a burger, and yes, one DID order the ribs. All said everything was wonderful, and I can say everything LOOKED amazing. The pork chops (you get two) are pretty sizable - she couldn't finish and took half her plate home. Same with the portions on the fish and shrimp - 1/2 went home with them. And they pile the first round of ribs so high, he was barely able to finish the one plate. He did though, just too full to order anymore. Oh! And one of the group ordered haystack onion rings for the table - I don't like battered onions so I did not partake - and it was giNORmous! It was like never ending. With 5 people eating them, 1/3-1/2 still went home with him.

Definitely worth the money as compared to other places, their prices are more...

Looked for a good place for Friday fish fry and looked at the reviews and we're positive and went here tonight. Walked in the hostess was friendly. Myself and girlfriend went to the bar and wait for a table. Bartender was friendly and very helpful for my girlfriend on suggesting cider drink. Hostess came to the bar after 5 minutes and was very pleasant as she walked us to the table. The fish was lightly breaded and had great flavor and tarter sauce I liked a lot. I gave my review 1 🌟 it was not the food or the hostess or drinks. This place was given 1 🌟 because Tiffany our waitress made the experience a horrible time. Me and my girlfriend from the get go ordered ALL YOU CAN EAT fish fry!!! When we asked for more fish she said "you didn't order all u can eat". We had indeed ordered all u can eat. Never brought us water, never ever brought my girlfriend her soda she ordered. Never asked us for more fish and when we asked for more she became very annoyed. After all of this when the bill came, Tiffany brought the bill with over charge of the $2.99 soda on the bill. Instead of correcting the bill she looked around the table with a distasteful expression on her face like we were lying about not receiving the soda. Very very very rude. Would go back if Tiffany was not are waitress. What I see is management never response to negative reviews. Management only responses to positive reviews only???? WOW!!! NO WAY TO RUN A...
