Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in Milwaukee

Food has really gone downhill since they opened! They are either taking ingredients out that are important to the dish that makes it a good dish or the cook isn’t putting the love Needed in for each dish! They also have taken some staple items off the buffet! Chocolate covered strawberries & Pineapple, which is one of the reasons I loved coming! Was worth the price! No chocolate cake! Their carrot cake I used to love and it has gone downhill! Use to be one of the best around! No it’s 3 out of a 10 rating! $54 for 2 people with tip! Isn’t cheap! We paid are part! It’s up to Golden corral to do their’s! Maybe take some unwanted items off the buff! like the jello and regular pudding, etc! People can make a $1 jello or pudding at home! etc! There are other things that can be down sized! That’s just an example! Bring back the good stuff or add back the ingredients needed to make dishes good! The meat was gross looking. Dry and fatty, Like it’s been sitting there for hours not touched! I wouldn’t touch it! Plus a kid just went up and grabbed a piece with his hands and after trying to chew it said, I think I just broke a tooth! The rice was hard, not edible! My husband stopped eating it and had are server dump the plate! The meatloaf was one of the reason why my husband liked coming and they changed something in that also! The soup was watered down! Wasn’t bad, just watery looking! Clam chowder has a creamy content, and it was very watered down! The so called French dressing that was a very light orange color, had no flavor! The place use to be packed, a long line to get in. Now we walk right in, no line. Parking lot was not packed at all for a Friday night, which should’ve gave me a very big indication about the food! This Golden corral is located in Oak Creek Wisconsin! Please do better! We would love to return! No issues with are server...

This restuarant has a B rating. I saw why cool air vent was painted off white, But was completely covered in dark gray dust. DISGUSTING! Walls had missing paint where something had been removed from the wall. Ice cream cones were openly laid in a long pan for everyone to touch, sneeze, cough or spit on. Only the chocolate ice cream was working, people were making a mess with the ice cream. They had an Icee machine that apparently no one liked, because there were so many used cups with icee still in them left at the site. There was no garbage can there to toss anything in. The cups were laid loose just like the ice cream cones, everyone touching all over them. It looked as though there were only 2 people working in the dining room area. This meant that there were tables filled with dirty dishes everywhere, with no one to clear them. You no longer can get your own beverages, so you are thirsty the entire time you're there. You receive a chopstick paper with a fork in it once you pay. No knife! I had to spread thee butter with a fork? Really? The food was not seasoned much either. I would've left, but I was there with family for a Repass. We had just been at a funeral and the main family chose this place. I stayed to support my family. No I wouldn't recommend anyone go there. I really would like my money back! This was awful. I don't know how they had a B rating? If the dining room looked the way it did, I can't imagine what was in the kitchen. I wasted my money because I didn't eat much. 2 Yeast rolls, rice and beans that's all I could stomach. I just couldn't get past how the kitchen might...

So we got to the restaurant at 1 pm. I should have known it was going to be bad when we walked in to only 3 large cups available for drinks and no trays.

The guy that worked the register was very impatient, noticed after we sat down he was I guess trying to eat. After we paid we got to the sign that said please wait to be seated, so we waited. With exasperation he had to come to let us know to sit anywhere. Thought maybe they should turn the sign around....but he didnt bother so...

Set our drinks down on our chosen table and went to get food. I'll get into the food in a minute.

When I got back with my plate, I realized we didnt have silverware. That was over at the cash register, I felt awkward but grabbed some. I didnt know if I was supposed to, if the rude cashier / manager was supposed to give it out or the waitress.

Our search waitress had a hard time pulling herself from the back corner where she was talking to a group.

The food...now I understand that golden Corral doesnt have great food. I really wasnt expecting much and I was okay with that. Somehow ...it fell below that bar. The food that they did have was dried out and not cooked well. The cooked cabbage was barely cut and crunchy for example.

At the end I was looking forward to my favorite....bread pudding!.....what pudding they had was actually stale....it was awful....so so awful....

Oh yeah they had styrofoam drinking cups for your ice cream!

I normally like golden Corral, but I'll never be back to...
