McDonald's — Restaurant in Milwaukee

I went in to order a simple hamburger happy meal. I stood inside at the counter for at least 15 min (along with at least 3 others) before giving up and going to the drive thru , which was busy and the focus of all employees. It then took another 30 min at the drive thru, and when I got the food finally, the fries were stale and unsalted. I am giving two stars instead of one only because no one was rude or anything....but busy and frazzled. Maybe someone called in that day and there was no availaable replacement, but if that's not the case, for god sakes hire another person or two. Not only for your customers, but your employees too. It's honestly ridiculous....poor service at the expense of overworked, stressed, and underpaid employees. Never will go to this location again.

As an aside, I read other reviews that imply that the bad service is due to the 'ghetto' location. Yeah, first of all, it's not 'ghetto.' Not even close. I've lived in Kensington, Philadelphia and the tenderloin in San Francisco, and trust me, those places are truly urban ghettos. 40 minutes wait for nothing. Pull into an empty lot with cars only in the drive thru and ordered 5 dollar menu sandwiches and I was behind 4 cars so I can understand if there is a wait. When I pull up to the box to pay, one lady standing there on the register and one behind her talking to her and eating a PB&J. Y'know I thought typical Milwaukee McDonalds its whatever but after 15 minutes I pull up to get food and they tell me to pull over to one of the reserve drive thru spots. I thought for 5 sandwiches? I guess. After another 15 minutes and 6 cars getting their orders I decided to go inside and get a refund. Go inside and see 7 people in the back and I ask for a refund and ask them what happened to my order and they said somebody must've forgot to come give it to us. In my head I'm just like whatever let me get my money back and I'm out this dump. Took them another 10 minutes to get me a refund and on top of that none of the workers were apologetic. walked in at 8:20pm and there is trash in the lobby everywhere,filthy bathrooms with no soap and or tissue, rude and obscene customers asking for lighters, change, and being asked what's your nationality and being called a mulatto and being told you are what your father is by an customer. Worst customer service ever waited 15-20 minutes for my order to be taken and the employee seemed to be more interested in the rude behavior and having an conversation then doing the job that's at hand,there is an big sign for the employees if you drop it pick it up , if you spill it wipe it up keep it clean where the food gets bagged, the filthy soda dispensers with flies and trash around them is an disgrace. I Wonder how their kitchen looks if it looks this way. We Did not know our order was ready because the employees was not loud enough due to the commotion nor gave us an receipt with our numbers on it so it sat there for 5 mins until we took it upon ourselves to check if it was our order.
