Let me first say: way, WAY over-hyped. Start with the atmosphere. There are about 5 low tables in one area that had actual chairs that apparently no one is allowed to use. The rest was either booths designed for one person on each side, booths that barely fit 2 people on each side (unless you're a middle-schooler), and high tables that are not comfortable for dining nor stable for older individuals. Initially the music was great. Classic rock with the associated video playing on MANY screens. Played at a volume where you could still converse, but not so loud you had to shout. Unfortunately this was completely destroyed by two guys who were sitting in what appeared to be a DJ booth who just started talking into mics over the music. Could not understand a single word. They were just talking to each other into these mics making it so you couldn't understand them OR the lyrics from the music that continued to play. It is not even a closed-in restaurant, so your vision is bombarded by reflections of slot machines, neon tube lighting, and the video screens bouncing off the panes of glass that run the length of the rows above the short walls splitting the booths. Now let's talk about service. The server we had was friendly enough, but would not turn her body to FACE the damn table. For whatever reason she just stood sideways and looked over her shoulder. This forced us to not only continually repeat ourselves, but also reach across the table to take dishes from her and hand them to her because she wouldn't reach for anything. Like we were there to do the work. My food was served to me a full 10 minutes prior to anything else coming out of the kitchen. And mind you there were people at only FOUR other tables. Tables that do not seat more than four people. The food itself was pretty good. I had the South x Southwest Eggrolls and the Hotel California Cobb Salad. The eggrolls were pretty tasty but looked nothing like the photo online. They are barely half as wide as what is pictured. The dipping sauce is weirdly sweet which detracted from the flavor of the rolls. A simple ranch would have been MUCH better. The salad is quite large and very fresh. The amount of dressing they serve with it is enough for about a 1/4 of the salad. Had to request more. I did take over half the salad, and half of the egg rolls home. Overall the experience was just meh. Not worth going back.

I visited Potawatomi Rock & Brew restaurant on June 5, 2024 for the all you can eat crab legs. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. IT’S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! Stood in line 3 hours before entering the restaurant, I was anticipating a long wait from past experience with the Potawatomi all you can eat crab legs, pre-Covid. It was the wait that followed that made the experience even more frustrating. After being seated, we waited an hour plus just to receive our roll and side salad, then another 30 minutes for the initial plate that consisted with 4 small unseasoned potatoes an over cooked small piece of corn, butter and 2 skimpy crab clusters, no lemons available. If you had the privilege to enjoy the Potawatomi all you can eat crab legs pre-Covid, you will be greatly disappointed! The crab legs were in adequate for the cost and soda was not included in the price. The waiter was rude, and inattentive we overheard the waiter talking to other staff members about the lack of tips and commenting on customers appearance (size). Given the quality of the food and the level of service, the meal was overpriced. I expected better for the price they charged. I will not be returning and highly recommend you reconsider if you intend on going! Don’t bother complaining to management, spoke with several of them expressing my frustrations and only responded with I’m sorry!!!!

This restaurant needs to make changes fast we came in on 8/26 around 1am for some food. I ordered the battered fish and my mom ordered the wings and a root beer. My moms food came out first and I waited a whole 20 minutes before my food came out as the person next to me got her fish that was supposed to be mine. (The persons family next to me had no food either so they were waiting on their food, and when their food came out they had a fish fry plate “left over” that ended up being mine.) The batter was undercooked on the inside and my moms root beer had no bubbles or ice in the cup it looked like a glass of black hot coffee. Once we got home from Potawatomi my mom got extremely sick and got food poisoning from the wings. Not to mention that our server forgot our waters, I am not the type of person to complain at a restaurant especially since the manager was running around making conversation with two other groups that were also making complaints…so I rather talk about my experience here. Overall my server was forgetful and he seemed like he did not want to be there and the food was not good, everyone around us was leaving all their food untouched. You need better cooks and management please because if not this restaurant is not going to make sales.

The higher ratings provided are only due to bartender Isaiah. He has phenomenal customer service! Isaiah goes above and beyond for EVERY guest and is a hard worker. He treats everyone with the same care and respect. If it was not for him I would rate this place a 0 easily.

The other staff members consistently ignore me when inside rock & brew all the times I’ve been there. Whether it’s at the entrance or at the bar. They seem as if they don’t like their jobs. Each time Isaiah has been the most pleasant, helpful, and the only consistent employee. On 12/9 around 3:30 was my 1st encounter here. Dark skinned girl, skinny, longer hair took forever to even acknowledge me or my mom who I may add is an Emerald member. She initially ignored us multiple times before engaging. Somewhere in between Isaiah took over our interaction. This was our 1st encounter with him. After noticing we were left not serviced he checked in on us after the other employee clearly was uninterested. He was very apologetic even though it wasn’t his fault because he knew she left us hanging.

Now my partner who is a Diamond with an executive host refused to even give the place a try after my initial experience. You never know how far word of mouth goes or who you are servicing!

Despite the inconsistent treatment we tried it again on 12/20 around 8pm. I saw Isaiah and ensured he assist us to save me the headache of the others. We have been back solely due to him almost every night since.

Isaiah makes really good drinks for individuals like myself who haven’t found what they like. Potawatomi really should help him advance with that skill. Unfortunately you can tell great people like him are unsupported.

It is very clear the other employees including managers try to belittle Isaiah. As a guest I should not be able to pick up on that simply by observing. Instead of being jealous they should try to master and emulate some of his qualities. The other employees truly make it an hostile environment.

The African American light skinned girl with the blonde hair with her natural black hair growing out was almost fishing for us to say something negative about Isaiah’s service and the drinks made. She is a real grouch nothing about her looks or comes off positive. The manager on duty on 12/20 around 8/9pm also kept redirecting Isaiah after talking to the young lady mentioned previously. It seemed as if they were teaming up on Isaiah when all he was doing was connecting with the guests that were present. They weren’t. I found that funny because the manager was coaching the wrong employee and should have been doing that to the other staff. Especially when the only person hustling taking care of everyone is Isaiah each time I’ve been there. Please watch the cameras, nobody else was supporting him or doing anything besides standing there watching his every move. Then the other staff members are typically gossiping or having a grand time taking about non work related things while ignoring people. It’s most very sad.

On 12/23 Rachel helped us and she was pleasant. Harder to find her at times but was very communicative and patient. There also was an older African American lady that was helpful at the entrance one of these times.

Food is mediocre though. My blackened chicken pasta was cold and unseasoned. Then on 12/23 my steak tacos did not have the sides I requested. I also find it funny that Market Place gives you 3 tacos but here it’s only 2. Food could be better! When that live band is there it is unbearable to deal with. There needs to be a partial glass casing around the performers. The sound level can’t be healthy for the employees working the bar. You can’t hear a thing so I’m unsure how they communicate. That could be a true...

This had to be one of the worst dining experiences I have had. 2 friends and myself went in for dinner. The experience began by what we thought was the host asking how many we had, we said 3, he/she walked away and went to a table that was just being seated without saying a word. The next staff member came, asked how many and actually sat us. Our waitress came over to take our drink and food order. We ordered the nachos, cheeseburger rolls and a burger. She put our order in, brought back our drinks, about 5 minutes later and proceeded to say they did not have the cheeseburger rolls. She ended up leaving and without a word we had a new waitress. The food runners had no idea where they were taking food as they came to us twice with other tables food. They were not busy either, less than half the resturaunt had people at tables. When we had finished eating we spoke to the manager about the lack of communication between the kitchen and staff about items they were out of, as when we were ordering we should have been told they did not have one of the items we ordered, not 5 minutes later, he was very dismissive of our concern. Then our second waitress comes and stands at the edge of the table, asks if we needed anything else and proceeded to give a bill total without any print out of what we were paying for, she ran the credit card for payment. When she dropped off the credit card slip, again with no print out of what we were being charged for. We had to call her back and ask for one. After a few minutes she brought it over, dropped it off at the table and left. When looking at the bill, the first waitress never took off the item they were out of so we were charged. I went over to her and asked her to kindly take that item off as it was not reveiced do to them not having it. She came back to the table and asked for the card again so she could re ring in the items we did receive, she stated she would be crediting back the first bill. We again spoke with a manager, a different one from the first time. We explained to him the whole issue with the bill and how the waitress went about just stating a total and asking for payment without an actual bill, us having to ask for it and how she ran both bills with no credit to the first one. I asked him, what if the credit for the first bill does not show up, what recourse do we have to get it resolved. He explained that only managers are allowed to give credits and he proceeded to go and run that credit. The issue with that was, the waitress was so bad that if we had not brought this up to management, we may have never received that credit. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to anyone and it is a shame that Kiss' name and Gene Simmons are associated with this...

Absolutely worst burger I have ever had in my life of living!!! Upon arrival we were seated and told our server would be with us in a min. No one came by for 12 mins. I had asked the hostess where is the server!? There was no energy out of her to even go find out she turned around on me and looked the other way! Something a 4th grade student would do to a classmate she didn’t like lol

Then the server came she did turn out to be very kind however it took 7 mins to rec our drinks just sodas!!! Then she forgot out appetizer. That came out after the meals.! Orders the Burger with egg and bacon etc it was absolutely awful!!! Zero flavor! Other than a hint of mayo! This was the weirdest burger and the catchup was spoiled! It was very tainted and sour tasting!!!

Absolutely disgusting and it was very spoiled u can get food poisoning so I let the server know so no one else gets sick!!! but she did try to help. The fry’s were the only good thing on the plates.! I cannot believe how bad the burger was I took two bites and knew it was over. What was to be Medium was burnt! There was no flavor other than the burnt meat.! It tasted so gross I cannot tell you! I’m not a complainer by far but this I had to let the public be aware! Maybe it was a bad day for the cook? Or the butcher or whoever!!!? But the host was no help! The food was awful except the fry’s! Cuz those are fried all fired food tastes good lol But everything was terrible!!! The waitress was good however she meant well in sure! The hostess needs a customer service class! When a customer asks u politley after waiting a long period go turn to even be acknowledged, she should say oh I’m so sorry MISS let me go see what holding her up!? And get ur drinks to help!!! But nope Ms Rudy Huxtableeee just turned her back on us when we asked her again as sweet as pie if she can find out where our waitress is?? She was literally standing at the counter leaned over doing nothing anyways!!! Zero energy!!! This is crazy! How bad customer service has gotten! Not even thinking to herself GEE I better be attentive, alert, and Kind to ppl that eat here Ummmmm they pay my Wageeeeeee!!! But nope no mindset of the damn sort! Pure dumb.! Hope u don’t order the burgers from here! It again was so disgusting! Good luck getting service in a timely manner and a hostess who give a Crap about her wage to push her to be on top of things! And in addition as a honest Poster the waitress did take off the appetizer and burger as a refund due to the...
