Soy de la isla y no tengo palabras bueno para éste negocio.
I was looking for a chinchorro and wanted wanted food de mi raíces.
Well for starters. We had alcapurrias... fantastic. For our entrees I had order Arroz con Habichuelas, pasteles, pincho and 8 more pinchos to go.
Well, I got my white rice for my habichuelas without the habichuelas. Thrown on there was two pasteles that were cold. They had no taste/no flavor. Had the pincho for the wife that cane 10 mins after my dish. The guy next to us has a party of 8 and is angry that they've been there 30 mins and only half the table got their food. 2 other people walk out without paying because they refused to pay for bad food. Then, I keep telling the waiter, "where's my habichuela?" He replies,"I don't make it so hold on, I'll check." 55 mins later still no habichuelas. I order 8 alcapurrias to go and they were almost burnt like and soft. 1.5 hours later I get my habichuela to go an 20 mins after I have it in a cup finally. When, I get home to eat said rice and beans. I HAD 3/4 BONE AND 1/4 BEANS.
OH THE PARCHA WAS THE BEST THING.
To management: Cook a whole takes food together before bringing it out instead of bringing one plate for a person at time for different tables. And to go backwards for a second. Perhaps prep the night before so that you are ready to hand a large crowd because the place has 12-15 tables and less than 5 tables were taken. If you are going to broadcast PR food, represent us with PR PRIDE and make that food with love so that we don't miss home. This was bad... La guaguitas de la calle estaban mucho mejor que este. Lastly, maybe re-evaluate your staff esp your kitchen employees. Clean attire, pants pulled up so that we can't see you butt cracks would be good. Orderliness and costumer satisfaction goes much further than pumping out food to get a couple bucks. Possibly never coming back.

Read moreI do not enjoy having to write a negative review, specially on a Hispanic location, but they've earned it. First time it took forever to get our order 4 ppl on the table and place was empty. Second and last visit was yesterday in the afternoon. Asked first of all one of the orders was "sorullitos" and was served a "sorrullo" if it's an appetizer and it's "sorrullitos" I expect to get what I ordered. Second the appetizers got to my table (3 ppl) 30 minutes later from been ordered. 45 minutes later the food arrives with lettuce when we specified at the beginning that we wanted to change it one for rice -that was VERY cold and the other one for "platanos" so... the "Mofongo" was ordered to be with "masitas De pollo" and when I asked the waitress she responded that the lady in the back told her that's what it is. Apparently they don't know the difference of "masitas De pollo" & "pollo desmenusado" plus the soup was COLD who would eat that?! Then as it wasn't bad enough a black skin lady that works there started giving bad looks. Really?! Horrible experience. Never going back. Prefer to spend my money and...
