Wing's Carryout | Chinese & Asian Food — Restaurant in Milwaukee

If a business wants to business they better make sure they understand the language in the city they are seeing. I have ordered from this restaurant in the past and the food has been ok. The Chinese Pagoda and Hui's are far superior, however they are not close to me. This evening I looked up on line the restaurant in order to get a menu and their phone number. I ended up ordering a combo plate at 6.55 and a small order of chicken egg foo young. When my partner got home with the food I was shocked to realize the price went up to 4.95 for efy and 8.35 for the combo. When I called they told me they have no idea who put the menu on line and that it was several years old. I tried to suggest a solution but the lady, who claimed to be the owner, started taking to someone in chines and then began talk over me and would not listen other than saying she has no idea where the menu came from. Finally I asked to talk with someone that spoke english as I also was calling because my food was burnt, never had burnt Chinese before. She kept going on about how she has no idea where the menu came from. I told her I would have to get my food d elsewhere and she said "FINE" and hung up. Just hard to understand how a business can continue to serve customer with this kind of service. Suggest getting Chinese food else where, so many excellent choices, feel stupid for even going there in the first place. So much for...

We have been going there sine 1995. New ownership this year with more hours, menu, and price increases. We were happy to give it a try on Good Friday and were not swayed with the price increase. We hoped the recipe staples still existed however it did not. Our order was over $110 for at least 8 items - not a problem as the containers were jam packed like before. We ordered 2 shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, 2 szechuan shrimp, and vegetable egg foo young. Some of this order was going to my 90 year old Mom in Waukesha - she loved the old Wing's - especially the shrimp friend rice and egg foo young!

None of the items were labeled so we couldn't exactly tell what they were with the exception of shrimp fried rice and egg foo young.

We got something other than the beef and broccoli. All tasted different and not good. The recipes have significantly changed. Miss the old wings. Hope they will reconsider their menu. I would like to think they had access to the old recipes, if not I wish them luck but we wont be...

The whole service was poor. I go there I order he tells me 10 minutes that’s fine. I ordered a veggie egg for you so 10 minutes past. I go back in there like another five minutes. OK another 10 minutes pass go up there like so how long it’s gonna take he said another six minutes I literally sought in that restaurant for 45 minutes. He could’ve just told me 45 anyway I’ve been cool with that instead of give me another 10 here 10 or 10 there then I get home he gave me a free soda, which was nice then he gave me some free whatever the stuff was with some cream cheese and peaches, I don’t know what it is. Nasty eggrolls spring rolls was really good. Very disappointed in the veggie egg for you. They burn my egg for young it was disgusting. It was dry. They had no seasoning no taste whatsoever.
