I stop by this coffee shop every morning, and it’s honestly become part of what sets the tone for my day. The coffee is always fresh, smooth, and fairly priced, which is rare to find nowadays. It’s not just about the caffeine it’s about the consistency and the comfort of knowing I can start my morning off right here. The staff are always welcoming, and the atmosphere has that perfect mix of calm and energy that helps me ease into the day. I was shocked to see there were low reviews for this place, then I realized it was all about the old owners!!!! I visited this spot last week, and loved talking to the owner. He loves what he does, and isn’t scared to learn new tricks. They make quality fresh coffee, with some throwback recipes to show love for the past. He made such an impression on me and my boyfriend, that we will definitely go out of our way to visit. I love supporting fellow business owners, and I wish this family the best in this adventure as owners of this cute coffee spot. PS. I adore having this spot within walking distance of my home. Their vegan menu is fairly expansive and i'm so happy they went with cultured kindness for their cream cheese spread. (it's the best :^) ) I love getting a latte and bagel here while walking my dog.

Update 21 September 2025: They no longer stock cultured kindness ;_; I still like this place but their new vegan cream cheese tastes like sour butter. Womp. They also had no other items except a blueberry muffin on their vegan menu. I see now that The Local's previous owner sold to Blue Jays. Maybe that's why the vegan options got resoundingly...
