France 44 Events — Restaurant in Minneapolis

France44 hosted the Bakken Ensemble's annual fundraising event in their new event space, and I have to say the entire experience was fantastic. The space itself is well-designed and very welcoming - it has the right balance of elegance and warmth, and the size felt spacious yet still intimate (our event was about 50 ppl).

Karina was both the event planner and wine educator at the event, and she was great - professional, accommodating and highly knowledgeable. Both the food and wines were excellent and fit well with the event.

The coolest part of the experience was the wine pairings Karina selected and presented. We selected 3 movements from one of the pieces we played at our concert, and she paired wines with the music. It was such a unique and educational (in the fun way) experience. It really felt like an extension of the concert, kind of like a little adventure we all got to share. And, our guests are still talking about it four months later. They keep asking when the next one will be. :-)

I would definitely recommend France44's space for an event, and our organization will definitely be doing more with them...

I had a surprise party for my husband's birthday here and from planning to execution, everything went so well. The space is lovely, new, and flexible. We ended up using the lounge and the patio was also also available for us but the weather wasn't great the night of the party, unfortunately. The events menu has a lot of options and is also pretty customizable which was great. Loved that the bar in the lounge area has beers on tap already so I didn't need to pick one keg for the whole event and people had choices. Everyone I worked with was awesome - Indi helped keep things on track leading up to the party and the staff there the night of was super friendly and helpful. From our first email to France44 Events, we received very prompt and helpful information from our event planner, Indy! We were having a large family and friends baby shower. We toured with Indy and sat down to discuss details. We decided to use both the lounge and rooftop space. The lounge has comfy couches and chairs with a fireplace facing a large bar. The rooftop patio area is quite large and also has very comfy seating with a mixture of sitting areas and tables with chairs. Very beautiful space! We selected a brunch type menu, buffet style. The food was delicious and the staff refilled as needed. The staff was with us from beginning to end and made helpful suggestions along the way. Indy moved some furniture around and added tables we hadn’t asked for but in fact needed! Great experience! Thanks Indy and the rest...
