Update: The corp that owns this McDonalds and a few others in the Twin Cities did try to make this right, by sending me 2 coupons for extra value meals.
I still would caution anyone ordering McDonalds from UberEats, if you don't have to have to. I ordered from UberEats and if you live in DT Mpls, this is the location they deliver from, when starving on Monday evening , cause my favorite chinese food place was closed and it been like 10 years since I had a quarter pounder value meal and my fridge was broken, which was bad enough, losing all the food in it.
The burger didn't have condiments that I requested , there was no where to request additional condiments and the french fries were soggy and while the Diet Coke was delicious, the food I couldn't eat, it wasn't worth $23 if you include, delivery, tax, service charge and tip , for a large Diet Coke and I just threw it out and I ended ordering dinner again from somewhere else, as UberEats wouldn't do anything.
And when I messaged McDonalds at their corporate site as no one would answer the phone at this location, telling them the issue with UberEats and that I had already cancelled my account with them, they just referred me back to UberEats.
I can understand employee error as people are human.
Messed up orders and being ran around, not a good idea, at all, especially when people are in the respect that I'll just use Postmates which have made things right, when there has been a food issue and stick with higher caliber restaurants in da Minapple, where I frequent, so that this doesn't happen again.
So word to the wise, unless you have money to actually burn, if you get nostalgic for a burger or fries and you live in Downtown, be careful using UberEats and just probably better to get food from somewhere like Crooked Pint or Rock Bottom, which are a few of my faves.
Also note, originally wrote review, cautioning people as this is not the safest place, but staff used to be well trained. I don't know if that's changed, hopefully more training though will be done to make sure this doesn't happen to another...
Read moreI went to this location and completed my order at the kiosk and waited. And waited.. and waited... I waited to pay for my food for 50 mins. By then the kiosk had deleted my order because I haven't paid yet. But while waiting I asked politely a few times if I could pay. But the manager proceeded to tell me to "use the kiosk" and I told him I did but I have cash and need to pay. He then tells us that nobody showed up so they can't help us. And when asking again, he says that the cars lined up outside are more important. After asking a third time, the manager with dreads started to ignore me. I still waited patiently. Mobile orders are flying off the counter. And I waited. At this point I am beginning to become furious. Finally the manager comes to the register. I tell him my order, and without pushing any buttons or even looking at the register, tells me there is no order. So I tell him I did order on the kiosk but he said there was no order. So I begin to tell him what I wanted. And he told me to use the kiosk and I asked well can I just order here real quick since your already here. He ignores me and looks to another customer and starts helping them while blatantly ignoring me while I been waiting for almost an hour now to get some food. So word of advice. I have been disrespected at this location before, and they have gotten my order wrong before, but nothing like what I experienced today. I am usually a very patient person. But they were out of line today and I will be finding a GM to talk to.
If you go to this location DO NOT BRING CASH. Because you will not be helped... If I could, I'd give this place 0/5 stars And the manager I have had troubles with today I believe is named Tony. And the other guy was the one who forgets...
Read moreAll I can really say is "mmmaah..." there is, hasn't been in a long time, probably won't be anywhere in the near future, ANYTHING fascinating, wonderful, exciting, or let's face it, delicious, coming out of this franchise. Let's face it, it's over priced fast food that we are all hooked on because of its familiarity. I should teally just speak for myself, but isn't that true? I mean yeah, whether it's a big Mac, or them greasy little French fries, or the processed to all hell and back chicken nuggets (do they still call them "chicken" nuggets, shouldn't it be something more like chicken "paste" nuggets!¿...?) Let's keep it real with ourselves, it's not the healthy choice that's for sure, so I'm guessing it's more or a product placement thing mixed with like I said good ol' familiarity that brings us back to these golden arches time and time again, right. I know that I never fed my child this stuff when he was a kid for fear of him one day walking in there by his own choice someday when he is hungry, I don't want that on my conscience.... lol by the way, has anyone else noticed that odd smell in a car after someone left the Micky D'Souza bag in the car over night....? Yeah, yikes is a nice way to put it, or more like "excuse me while I try to figure out what wild animal barfed in my backseat next to the carseat!!!" Aaaah, there's the Golden Arches now! Go try it for yourself, go ahead everyone else has! ;-) If you agree, or you just liked this review, please hit the thumbs up button and try not to forget the bag in the...
