Got a great deal using Upside, so I ventured into the great unknown, vast metropolis of Minneapolis, using my GPS, and found this little hole-in-the wall rib joint. Personality plus! I think there was parking behind the building, but I opted to walk from a side street. I really liked the mild bbq ribs, twice baked potato 1/2, and the somewhat petite cuplet of coleslaw. Only one small table, and not really an eat in sort of place, so my only co.plaint, which only about my circumstances, not their food, was that I didn't get to eat it hot. I didn't know where to stop and eat, so ended going all the home. I'll plan to find a park nearby, before I get the food, so I can have peak enjoyment! Quirky MN memorabilia covered the walls, so plenty to peruse while waiting a few minutes for your food! Nice people. Going to go again!

Truly a hole-in-the-wall with room for only two seating, this local huddle spot offers friendly service and great ribs! And yes, to the other reviews, the beans are really spicy! I was even offered a complimentary soda, without asking! The food is really good too. Just recognize their very limited hours (only open Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and cash-only operation. Five stars for super friendly and welcoming service, (the guys always personally thank us for coming in and ask us to come again in the most enthusiastic, generous manner) and the quality of BBQ. Thank you for always being so kind!

I stopped by at the last minute, and the owner was still super kind and welcoming, even taking the time to ask about my taste preferences. The food was an amazing value—absolutely delicious! I asked for the spicy BBQ sauce, which was mild for my taste and could be a bit spicier, the pork was perfect—no complaints there. Just give it a try; you won’t be disappointed! The restaurant is very small, with only one sit-down table, but I absolutely loved the cool, old town vibe. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Meats are not smoked, but oven baked. We ordered ribs and chicken online, and were told to arrive in 45 minutes. When I got there after 50 minutes, my order was not ready. The employee went to the back and came out after several minutes, he had just packed them in Styrofoam (are those even still allowed in Mpls?) containers. When I got home, we were missing the extra sauce and potato salad we ordered. The food was only lukewarm, so I don't think it was very hot to begin with. The chicken was tender and moist. The ribs were not fall off the bone type, but were pre-cut. The coleslaw was terrible. Salty, bland, and a bit sour. We ordered the mild sauce, it was sweet, but not great. The baked potatoes are half of a twice baked potato, which was just okay. Also disappointed the GetUpside app wouldn't work, as they don't have receipts that work for it. I...

Pulled pork sandwich was great, with ruffles chips, great Cole slaw and a free soda.. Inexpensive too! They ran out of chicken though, at six pm, so I couldn't get dinner for the rest of my family. I appreciate they are a small operation but it left me feeling less than confident about dropping in and finding what we need. Also, ribs take 30 minutes after you order them (maybe not always, but that's what I was told the other night) so that made fast take out limited. I'll go back for sure but feel like I have to call ahead to make sure they have what we need and figure out timing... Nice old fashioned vibe... Real people...
