This place is absolute 🔥🔥🔥!!! The best tacos I have had in the twin cities. Do not be fooled by its modest appearance or limited seating. This places deserves waaay more love than just 4.5 stars. The meat is fresh from the carniceria next door and the tortillas are soft but hold to the last bite. 5 stars in my book!!! Also, the two sauces on the photo are worth the trip to Valerie’s. They sell them as well so just ask. You are welcome.

So my friend told me about this little unassuming taco joint, and I decided to try it. Omg, the food is on point! Tastes like homemade. The ladies were very sweet and enjoyable. I was nervous at first because it's tiny and dated, but the food is amazing, and the sauce they give you on the side is so good. Two tacos, a tamale and a drink, only cost me $12! You don't find these prices anymore. I'll be back and I'm bringing friends!

My friends and I discovered this hidden gem while on the hunt for the best, most authentic street tacos in town, we’ve been hooked ever since. Every visit keeps us coming back for more. The food is consistently outstanding, the service is warm and attentive, and the experience never disappoints. Easily the best tacos we’ve ever had. I recommend this spot to everyone!

If I could give less than one star to this store, I would. It was a Friday and as any Muslim believer do, I was wearing my white imama(scarf) and long clothes, for Friday prayer. I walked into to store and asked the staff working inside, “where is the bottle” the staff and another women chatted in Spanish for while, laughed at my clothes and finally pointed me the water. Walk up to the cashier desk and asks “how much is it?” Would anyone believe me if I say, THEY SOLD A FULL 32 bottle Dasani WATER FOR $ 10.00 ? Our favorite dishes are the chicken (pollo) street tacos and carne asada (beef) street tacos. We usually get 3-5 per person. The meat is always seasoned so well, you can taste the love and care that goes into it.

I could also subsist entirely on the green and red salsa- it’s so good!

5 stars for atmosphere because this lil place it’s a Taqueria and it is EXACTLY what it advertises to be.

When we moved from Phoenix we were worried we would lose our access to street tacos - but Valerie’s fills that void in our hearts...

Valerie's made the best tacos I have had since I was in Jaurez a few years ago. It takes a little bit of time for them to prepare the tacos when you order them but it is worth the wait! I love the Chorizo taco and the Al Pastor taco. I've tried the barbacoa and carnitas and a few others but in my book the Chorizo and Al Pastor here are unbeatable.
