I don’t write google reviews very often but the owner is the sweetest human on the planet. I pulled up in my car and he let me know he was closing early due to a staffing conflict (the world is short staffed, and life happens) he ran BACK inside after closing to get me a cold brew, he was out so he got me a nitro at no charge…which wow I felt spoiled. A great way to start the day. He was so sweet and kind and has another location in Saint Paul which I will get my coffee from now on. I didn’t go inside but the coffee and owner are amazing :) definitely a great person and place...

Overall a great spot that fits well in the neighborhood. Coffee is great - especially the specialty drinks.

I do have a few gripes. Compostable coffee cups are very affordable these days and there's really no excuse to be using disposable ones in a city with municipal composting.

The breakfast burritos are also oddly overpriced at $12. That's essentially restaurant pricing and the quality is nowhere close, they're fine but really shouldn't be...

I really enjoyed my visit at Yellowbird Coffee Bar. The atmosphere is light and airy, with plenty of room to chat with friends without it being noisy and crowded. The bathrooms are large and clean. I had the mojito lemonade and it was very delicious. The staff member was super friendly and sweet. The coffee shop is located in a cool arts building with artist studios, and within walking distance of a couple parks....
