El Azteca — Restaurant in Minot

I don’t know where my old review went on this horrible customer service of a restaurant but I’m back to tell you these people are highly disrespectful to military members. I spoke on the phone with either the owner or manager at the time and spoke my mind about the rude service. A few weeks later the manager had a husband in the military and he lied and told my command that I walked in with uniform and cussed everyone out. That was a complete lie and thankfully my chief believed me and nothing happened. These people are a disgrace and food was expansive for the amount you get. I hope the owner reads this because I will never recommend this place to any military member. Stay away! We are a regular at this place, and the recent employees are really rude. Two in particular, there is a colored girl who has a foul mouth gets an attitude when we ask for more or less of something, the geeky white kid with glasses has poor customer service they make us feel very unwelcome. We ask for more enchilada sauce on our smothered burrito because they only put two small ladles and they get very rude and short. The portions are very skimpy. We pay for two big burritos and get two kid sized burritos. They messed up on one of our burritos and instead of restarting they just picked the stuff off. Very displeased with them and their customer service. I've worked customer service for 7 years and was a manager of a restaurant and I would not have these employees working for me. What’s the point of ordering takeout when they make the food when you get there? They shouldn’t accept take out orders. Out of 3 times I ordered for pickup on the phone the food was never ready when I got there. It seems like a trend they start making the food when you arrive. Last time I got there 20 minutes after placing the order and they start making the food when I arrived which is annoying. I’m hungry and want to pick up food that’s ready. Doesn’t everyone or is this just me. And the restaurant is empty. I’d understand if they were busy but it’s just unusual to me to have to place a phone order wait, drive to pick it up and wait another 20 mins.
