Read moreCame to Minot to drop my friends off at the airport, we only had time to grab food from a drive through, and decided to go to this KFC across from the airport. Ordered 3 sandwich meals and 2 single sandwiches. We waited in our car in front for 25 minutes for our order , there were no other customers went into the store or through the drive through while we were waiting. 25 minutes later I went into the store, and the staff handed my food to me, I feel like it was easier for us to do a dine in. Didn’t had time to double check our order, so we rushed to the airport and find out we were missing a sandwich and a fry , and got wrong orders of drinks. After dropping off my friends, I went back to the store to talk to the staff about my order. There were no customers or staff at the counter, I said excuse me anyone there for a few times and there were no response, few minutes later, two staffs ( young guy who took my order and payment earlier) and the young girl who handed my food to me, both of them came out of the same washroom 🙄. May be they were having a private huddle in the washroom.. I mentioned about my order, no apology , no comments, no response, the girl put her gloves on ( no handwashing after coming out of the washroom), and made me a sandwich and gave me a small order of fry.
I have no plans to return to Minot for anything anytime sooner and I am not a regular customer there, but if any of you are, just a heads up that this is the place that you need to avoid. Terrible terrible and terrible!! Stay away from...
Read moreThey seem to have stepped it up a bit as of late. For a while I would always get undercooked chicken strips where you could tell when you bit into it that it wasn't done. Gave them another shot and this time I got fully cooked strips and the rest of the food was on par with standard KFC. I found the kiosk easy to use and I prefer ordering that way so I can take my time and think about what I want. I only waited about 10 mins and they even threw in some free apple pie snacks for the wait. 10 mins for KFC is pretty normal so I didn't feel inconvenienced. I've waited 30 mins for McDonalds before which was ridiculous. I worked at a KFC in the early 2000s and I know it's not technically classified as "fast food" so 10 mins is perfectly fine as long as the quality is there. The main complaint I have is the presence of house flies in the place. Idk why restaurants don't do themselves a favor and get a bug-a-salt or two to keep the flies down and give the employees a bit of fun during the slow times. Hopefully they keep it up because I've been a huge KFC fan for years before pretty much all chain restaurants started going downhill...
