Ordered a sub and a wrap. 1st : the order took extremely long to make. I go to jimmy John’s all over the country and they always hold to the same standards and time. 2nd: I was eating my sub a #15 w/ jimmy peppers order # 146 I also ordered a jalapeño ranch chicken wrap. 3rd: While I was eating the sub I found a hair in it what seemed to be a beard hair. I immediately called them and informed them of what happened. I was next door staying at the Sonesta Essentials hotel. The manager said he would make me a different sandwich but that I would need to bring it back to him with the receipt. I requested that he just send one of his people over to the hotel to deliver it to me as to make this right to their customer.(remember they do have delivery service) The manager said he could not do that because I had ordered it from the drive thru instead of delivery so I would need to bring it back in to the store. So I decided to walk over there when I get to the door it was closing time to they had the door locked. They motioned to me as to say that I needed to walk all the way around the building to the drive through window. I refused the building is a mini strip mall and is fairly long they can walk to the front door 20 steps and hand me my sub. So they did finally. 4th: There were 3 guys working still 2 of which both had beards and neither of them were wearing beard nets. When I confronted the guy about it because I had just got a hair in my food he said it was not a requirement. I suppose a health inspector may say otherwise.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE , POOR WORKMANSHIP , SLOWER THAN AVERAGE PROCESSING TIME.
If you are used to the service that Jimmy John’s serves and maintains throughout the country in all of their stores this is not the store to go to. Check your food...
Read moreOn the evening of Jan 16, I ordered from Jimmy John's South in Minot, through the Door Dash App. Someone from the store called me shortly afterwards, saying that they had no drivers available and wouldn't be able to deliver my order. When I stated that I couldn't pick it up, the caller said it would be cancelled and the amount paid credited back to me. I didn't see the credit after about 2 days, so I called the store. I was told that it may take 3-5 days. Not wanting to be a pest, I waited 2 weeks and called back. I was told that it was a Door Dash issue. I contacted Door Dash and was told that since the order was shown as delivered they couldn't do anything about it. I called the store back and told them what Door Dash had said, I was then told that it had been over 2 weeks and there was nothing that could be done. I asked why, stating my order was never delivered and there must have been an oversight. They offered to have their GM call me back. That was 4 days ago, I've had no call yet. If I could give less that 1 star, I would. This situation has been really disappointing. The amount paid included a tip for the driver, which I was happy to give if the order had even been received. I will not ever order from that store again....
Read moreTo the young woman with glasses and box braids working the drive-thru—I’m not sure what was going on during your shift today, but I sincerely hope whatever the issue was, it gets better. We all have tough days, but it’s important to leave personal frustrations at the door, especially in customer service.
When I politely asked for my receipt after being charged at the window, I was met with a dismissive hand gesture and told it would come with my food. When the food was handed to me, I was told the receipt was in the bag—it wasn’t. I had to walk inside, where a kind gentleman behind the counter apologized on your behalf and gave me my receipt while you walked to the back.
Respect and professionalism go a long way, even during hard moments. Please don’t project your stress onto others—it leaves a...
