This is an old favorite of mine and the staff is usually always nice and friendly even though it can be pretty busy and hectic. It had been well over a year, maybe two since I'd eaten at the Minot Southeast KFC. I wasn't aware they'd reopened their dining room. I stopped in for a late lunch when I noticed people sitting inside. It was about 3:30pm. The remodel of the dining room looks great and much cleaner. The food tasted good and fresh. I had the two-piece snack and love that I can substitute their coleslaw instead of the mashed w/gravy that I don't care for. I was disappointed that their oven was broken, and since they were using a large toaster oven in its place, I was informed there was a 50-minute wait for biscuits. The place opens at 11AM, so my husband and I had went over to pick up lunch. We waited, and as soon as it hit 11:10, there were around 15 other people waiting outside along with us. I tried calling, and no one answered the phone. I ended up going somewhere else for our dinner chicken that night, but reached out to them on Monday. The manager was very apologetic and respectful, giving me the choice to pick up my order (since I had already paid for it) or they would give me the phone number for Grub Hub to arrange for a refund. He assured me they would work with Grub Hub (which administers their mobile app) to notify customers when early store closures happen during holidays.
