Read moreFirst off the food has went straight downhill and is never correct. Secondly, they love pressure washing their parking lot though all hours of the night. For most people who don’t live in the neighborhood surrounding them probably not a big deal, I however DO live in the neighborhood and they are beyond loud with their pressure washers. I can not, can not wait for them to go out of business like the other one. 👎🏻 If you want the worst tacos in town, this is the place to be.
Update: tried this place again. Smothered my tacos in some red sauce… was drowned in sauce. Literally was not even edible AND they forgot my potatoes AGAIN! They slowed down on the pressure washing there.. and now are the homeless hangout of the town of Minot. Still the worst tacos in town.
Update 2.0 (05/28/25): As if pressure washing their parking lot in the middle of the night wasn’t enough, you can now add weed eating and mowing grass at 11pm to the list of “normal things” this establishment does on a normal basis. We understand you are open late, but the neighborhood you operate this establishment in have people who work normal hours and need to be up at 6am for NORMAL JOBS! Literally the most disrespectful establishment in Minot without a doubt. 100% if you are reading this take your hard earned 9-5 earned money to a business in which has better food (not hard to find) and give it to a business that gives respect to the people living in the neighborhood who surround them. Zero common sense in this establishment. ZERO. Hopefully their terrible food will resolve all these issues within time and will put them out...
Read moreI'll be writing this review to help you if you are deciding to come to Taco Johns here at South Broadway. In terms of food quality, I believe the company itself delivers food that's at least better than average. It's really good when you get it fresh, but the quality plummets greatly if it's been left.
Unfortunately, the reason I give Taco Johns a one star is because they don't care enough about their customers. If you go dine in, it wouldn't be uncommon to be exposed to plenty of unsensitized areas and unclean bathrooms. As for the workers, they tend to commonly have messy areas, and workers casually being emotionally rude. Gossip is absolutely common here. The Drive thru is similar, long wait times and having drive thru speakers that sound like they hate the fact you came here. Very few genuine kind workers there, the toxic and apathetic coworkers make up the majority unfortunately.
In all seriousness, I would like to believe it's not just about the food. Drive through times aren't everything, and each order should be made with care. I genuinely see this as a waste to come to this establishment, as their only interest is money, and making sure you don't have problems just so you don't bother them. Point is, if you're coming here to be expected to be treated like a customer that matters, don't. I absolutely promise you, there are better Mexican or other taco places that you can go to with both better food and customer service. Do not waste...
