Very rude staff and management. I never ate at Chili’s before and was so excited to finally try it. Also, this was my first time out with a friend since having a child a year ago and finding out that I’m now two months pregnant all while still exclusively breastfeeding my one year old. (Just to explain where my mind is) we sit in the bar section as it’s my friends birthday and my husband had my ID (who was on his way) but the lady serving us says “you cannot sit here if you don’t have an ID” I very kindly said I completely Understand and we moved to the table right behind us right away. The lady comes up to us and says, would you like any drinks, my friend orders an alcoholic drink and I asked for a virgin one because I don’t drink and on top of that I’m pregnant. She says all of our drinks come with the alcohol already in it so I ordered a Shirley Temple. My friend drink comes and she says this is soooo good. My first reaction was to try it when I tell yall I literally took the tiniest little sip of it that I didn’t even swallow anything, it was literally just to taste it and right when I did it, I hear a woman yell at me. No! Uh uh You cannot do that and starts yelling other things. Every person in the restaurant looks over at me. I again very kindly state I’m sorry I promise I was not even thinking about that I just tried it to Taste. She continues to yell and say you can either drink that or cash out to my friend. We are confused as to why she was so angry with me. She then comes to our table and slams the receipt down next to me and says cash out and you (me) can go outside. And starts yelling other things “you’re not going to get me in trouble” “someone just tried that” I then get upset because everyone is now stairing and feel completely disrespected and uncomfortable. I then say to her okay but stop talking to me like that. I understand what you’re trying to say but you do not have to talk to me like this at all. She goes no you’re not about to do that to me and we start going back and forth. The manager then gets between us and I state what just happened and he says it’s law that we can not serve you. I said No one ever told me I can’t try my friends drink he says condescending “that’s common sense” I’m 22 years old and was pregnant and mothering these past two years and like I said do not even drink so I've never ordered drinks before and surely was not thinking in my head oh I can’t try this because I don’t have an ID. That is literally the last thought I would have thought of. And I was unaware of that “law” so that just felt really demeaning. I tell the manger I completely understand all of this but you need to tell you're staff though to never speak to anyone like this. At this point the entire restaurant is staring and I am completely embarrassed. He then tells us to leave because of the “law”. I said my husband will be here soon and can show you my ID if it’s really this serious. He still said we have to. I respect everyone I come across and understand when workers follow the rules of the employer. In this case I really think they should have just said hey you can’t do that. As I really didn’t even “drink” anything at all. Or was never planning to. Also are of age.. If she really had to stand on that it just should have been done completely different and respectfully. I’m certain she ruined a lot of people’s outing last night. Ive never been so disrespected or embarrassed anywhere in my life. I really hope you guys talk to her and let her know this should never happen again. She was the bartender working Thursday night the 7th around 7-8 pm. That almost ruined my entire night. That I don’t get often😕 I then went to longhorn and it was amazing though our server was shocked at what just happened to us (as she is a bartender herself). And someone ended up paying for our meal. God is good.😌 I always tip with the $50/$100 bills I keep just for our serves in south bend🥺 that’s how much I respect and love people serving others in restaurants. I hate that...
Read moreWorked 12 hrs.drove 40 min home to get family...30 min to this restaurant and of all the places to choose..we chose wrong....unfortunately we came at 8pm. (they close @ 10pm) we were the ONLY customers there. [ 1st red flag] then was asked if we wanted to sit in the bar area( even though we had 2 children under 11) we declined and was sat in back closest to kitchen. We decided to just order appetizers as we were only customers at this time.. so we ordered 3 triple play appetizers.. we waited almost 30 min for food( in this time about 3 to 4 other family's arrived so total of 4 tables) when food arrived my triple play had 1 item that was wrong. Server snatched it back and did not return for 10 more minutes. This whole time the husband and kids were eating. When my plate returned the item that was wrong was replaced with under cooked and squished onto the plate.. and the other food was cold and hard at this point.. I asked waitress if cook was upset that he had to make the order correct as the food was undercooked and not very pleasing to the eye as it was smashed to the plate.. she immediately went to the kitchen and shouted" you better go talk to her she's wining about her order. I assume the manager came to our table and asked what the problem was. ( I say assume as he did not introduce himself) I showed and explained the issue and he just looked at me and said well..' we have had computer issues and I sent most staff home blah blah" took 6$ off .. disgusting. Disappointed Never again and will let everyone know how bad service food and environment is at this restaurant.. Eating out is an experience.. this was a very bad experience all around.. I just have to say... if you don't like your job and your not there for the customers experience..then find something else to do.. we as customers work too had to trow our $ away for poor service poor food and poor experiences.. Very...
Read moreWent here on Sunday. Parking spots were available and we got seated instantly. Thought it would be a good time with no wait.
Server got us our drinks but seemed to either not want to be there or just didn't really care. Ordered the triple dipper app and it was okay. Best part was the mozzarella sticks, but I don't think it's really hard to mess those up.
Wife got the smokehouse 3 combo with ribs, quesadilla, and chicken tenders. I got the Big Mac knockoff.
Took 20ish minutes to get the food so not a terrible wait time but it wasn't even our server who brought it out.
Immediately we noticed wife was missing her ribs and they didn't bring any sauce for the tenders. We had to wait a second, server asked if everything was okay, had to tell him. He at first said he didn't hear her about the ribs, but then looked at his tablet and said "I did put them on there." Cool right? Assumed he would go get them but comes back and they were out of ribs. He then asked if she wanted something else. If he had told us 20 minutes prior we may have chosen something else but we are not waiting another 20 minutes for something else.
Took me a second to realize I had also upgraded my fries to their queso fries and didn't get it. He said I asked after he placed our orders on the tablet and he had to let them know. I assure you I asked while we placed our our and if he rushed the order on the tablet that is on him. Either way I didn't get the upgrade.
The fries were dry and we had to grab ketchup from another table because the one on ours was completely out.
I gave this 2 stars because at least we were seated and got something to eat but after everything was said and done the damage was still over $70 and I do not...
