Have been a customer at this store for 5+ years and enjoyed buying my hot chocolate there every morning. Was surprised when I went there on 5/6/15 to buy my boys big macs and the store had a deaf girl (I later learned) at the front counter. I gave her my order of 2 big macs and she didn't hear the 2. After she gave me the receipt and asked for money I realized that she might have charged me for one so I asked her if she indeed charged me for 2. She kept asking. I kept saying the number 2 and at one point even using my two fingers to demonstrate. I was getting exasperated at the time (I didn't know she was deaf). She then threw her hands up in the air and called Jenni (supposedly a manager there) to come and resolve the issue. I told her that I had asked for 2 big macs and the girl charged me for one and I was getting exasperated. She then said she didn't hear because she is deaf. She then tried to charge me for 2 burgers again at which point I asked why she was charging me twice for one that I had already been overcharged. She rudely quipped that its because I said I wanted 2 big macs. At that I am now getting angry at the so called manager who I tell a few angry words. She threatens to call the police on me and I ask what for and she says for shouting in a family restaurant. She proceeds to cancel my order and gives me back my money and tells me to go on my way to which I obliged. The problem is she paid me less than what I had been charged -- small amount yes but a problem for me since I was being paid back in order to get me out of her face. The least you can do at that point is pay me back all my money. She did not come to solve the problem. She came to add to the problem and to create new ones. I was flabbergasted by her attitude.
First they put this girl up front and set her up for failure by having her take orders when she is deaf. I get the idea of equal opportunity employer but you don't give a driving job to a person with no hands just because you are equal opportunity employer. They could have given her any other job that does not require her to competently interpret what customers are saying when placing orders. Then when a problem that they clearly set up to eventually happen actually does happen the so called manager comes and worsens the situations instead of solve it. She displayed a stinking attitude. I think she must have come wanting to defend the deaf girl and forgot that her job was to calm the situation and solve the problem....
Read moreHad a horrible experience with the person taking orders in back drive on 9/27 around 9:40 at night. They were incredibly rude and passive-aggressive to me because i didn't hear them ask if i wanted to round up. I had thought they had asked me to pull forward because i couldn't understand what they were saying. Their demeanor toward me kinda shocked me, and I asked if i could talk to the manager, something I've never felt the need to do before. They acted as if they didn't know why I would want to do that. They started to get all shakey and nervous and/or angry as I explained that their behavior towards me felt passive-aggressive and I found their actions rude. They told me they had a personality disorder that caused them to be like that. I asked if they had had a long night, knowing that fast food can be grueling work. I decided to drop it.
I pulled forward and waited about 5 minutes, and i had an inkling they were messing with my food. Got the bag and sure enough, they had dumped grease on my burger and gave me old stale fries. I didnt eat a bite of the food and threw it away when i got home. Looking in the trash the next day, the brown bag was soaked with all the grease they had put on the burger. I didn't get a receipt. That's the only reason im leaving a public comment. Highly recommend checking the cameras to...
Read moreI usually don’t have problems when I go to McDonald’s but this time it was way different than any other time I’ve gotten food from any McDonald’s location. I tried using the McDonald’s app and it wasn’t hard to use the app in fact it was quite easy but I had the choose of curbside or go inside the restaurant to pick up my food well neither worked. The restaurant was locked so I couldn’t go Inside and pick it up & curb side was closed or I should say it closed at seven. Well I went thru the drive thru & that was a nightmare because they didn’t have an order for me and I gave my # that I was given off the app but I still was Told to pull forward and they would look at my app and try to help me figure out what happened to my order. I also ordered a medium slushy on the app too it was a separate order and that went smoothly. Well they found my food but when I got home I tried calling McDonald’s to tell them I had some problems with my food but after calling 6 times I couldn’t get an answer in fact I finally got “ please put in your 6 digit access code “ I have no clue what that means but I was very disappointed with my food & I know that they were busy but they could have answered the phone. I don’t think I want to ever go to that McDonald’s...
