Update: been coming here but tonight is our last visit. We wanted to get the 10 taco special and were going to have 5 Mexican and 5 American and knew that there was going to be an upcharge for the American style. The waiter flat out refused that and said very negatively that only Mexican style were available. So I asked for 2 American style steak tacos. And when my wife said that we no longer wanted the special and could she please have 2 Mexican style tacos. He just got mad. Tossed the menus down on the table across from us. Very angrily tore off the previous ticket, made a tisking noise and asked rudely what she wanted. We were both very taken aback by this. I have NEVER experienced this behavior anywhere before. Well maybe from my kids when they were 2. Now I understand why they aren't busier when we go in. I know he is driving customers away with his rude attitude. We definitely will not be back. My husband and I just ate here this evening. We came here four years ago right after they opened. They didn't even serve alcohol yet back then. So I was searching on Google for a good Mexican restaurant to try and I came across this place that I'd forgotten about. I'm glad we went. Thankfully they serve adult beverages now. The decor was updated and looks good. Jose was our waiter and he was fast and friendly. I like to judge a Mexican restaurant by how good their tamales are and this place has great tamales. We got the guacamole and chips, we thought the guac was a little bland, so we just added a little salt and it was fine. I got the tamale plate. Two chicken and one pork tamale, rice, beans and the little salad. Everything was delicious. My husband got the mixed meat fajitas and he said the steak and shrimp we cooked perfect and tasted great. You’ve gotta try this place! Food and service are both top notch with VERY reasonable prices! First time I was here I tried ordering a seltzer to drink which they didn’t carry. Owner came out a few minutes later, asked what kind as he had had other customers ask about them. I told him a couple of varieties but not to worry about it as we didn’t come often. Well we went exactly 1 week later because we were craving it and there were seltzers in the cooler when we walked in! The owner is also the chef, and he comes out and checks on the table after everyone gets their food to make sure everything is right and see if anyone needs anything!
