My wife and I have been making an effort to eat at more “mom and pop” restaurants. I believe in supporting small, local businesses and Raelynn’s didn’t disappoint.
Upon arriving, I was initially daunted by the amount of customers already there. I went to check out the inside first before my wife and I saw they were packed. I noticed one empty table for two but what really caught my attention was the staff’s hustle.
I went back for my wife and we sat down. I was amazed at the staff’s speed and efficiency.
Though packed, we were waited on within 10 minutes. This was completely acceptable considering we obviously arrived during a rush. However, once we were greeted and offered coffee, it was all pleasant from there.
The food is very, very reasonably priced. Our bill was $20 including tip. The quality of food was great!
In summation, don’t let the size of this small, cozy restaurant fool you… the owner and staff are very dedicated to providing their customers with a quick, affordable meal.

Read moreWe stopped here with friends late on Saturday morning. Now I use to go to the reqsturant back when I was a kid over thirty years ago now. The nostalgia when I walked it was overwhelming. Same set up, same smells(minus the walls and air dripping with cigarette smoke), the food was even quiet the same. Everything we got was delicious. The sausage gravy comes either chorizo or country style. Country is my favorite however both were amazing. The biscuits were soft but buttered and grilled before being served to you. The omelets there are no joking matter. If you order one and leave hungry it's a you problem. Basic eggs and toast breakfasts even are great. This was most likely the best greasy spoon I've been to in many years. I will make it a point to go...
Read moreLove the truck stop diner feel but the food is unmatched. It's easy to mess up hash browns but these were perfectly crispy outside and so soft and tasty inside. Bacon was thick and crunchy. Eggs were perfect. Pancakes are in my top five and I've got a list of over 100 diners. Staff was attentive and it was busy. I'm not a regular but I got treated just as well as the folks who you could tell were regulars. Seemed like everyone who walked through the door got a sincere greeting. Food portions were large and I enjoyed every bite that I was able to fit in my belly. I'll definitely go back. By far the best diner that I've been to...
