The best part of the meal was my wife's glass of wine. This will be the most honest review, hopefully the restaurant takes this as constructive criticism. My wife ordered Eggplant ravioli, what was delivered was eggplant parmigiana for $16.95. Let's deconstruct this meal... It was not true eggplant parmesan, it was eggplant, covered in sauce and cheese, not breaded like traditional eggplant parmesan. It was served with rotini pasta with marinara sauce, very bland watery marinara sauce. I ordered Chicken Tequila Fettuccini for $19.95. The chicken was boiled and over cooked, and lacked any seasoning, even salt. You know how chicken is over cooked? When you bite down in bounces back, pure rubber. My sauce was a cream sauce and dripped off the spoon & pasta like slightly thickened milk. My older son ordered Fettuccini Alfredo from the kids menu, at least this was decent but it was garlic alfredo sauce, and my son hates garlic. This should have been listed on the menu as garlic alfredo sauce because it ruined his dinner and he would have ordered something else. My younger son had the best meal out of all of us. He ordered their wood fired pizza with canadian bacon and specifically said no pineapple. Guess what... it was delivered with so much pineapple, we probably had two cans of it. He was so hungry that he just picked off the pineapple and devoured the pizza which was actually tasty. Why did he pick it off? Because it would have taken another 15 minutes for a new one to be made. REALLY? Lastly, at most italian restaurants, including Olive Garden, you are offered fresh parmesan cheese. Not here! My recommendation is only eat here if Olive Garden is too flavorful for you and you want to overpay for terrible...
Read moreHorrible. I wanted to like this place and decided to give them a second try. I took a client there for dinner and this time it was worse than the first. Leaving you hanging seems to be a specialty they serve up fresh every time. Whether it is calling with no one answering - literally standing in the entrance waiting for someone to finally acknowledge you, while their phones are blowing up with no one answering them or God forbid should you order one of their specials. My guest ordered their special butternut squash ravioli, I was yet undecided and asked the server to put his in while I looked. After 5-7 min she came back and I just ordered pizza. Thank God they give you bread as it was a long time before we saw her again and she finally delivered the pizza but told my guest it would be 7 more minutes for his dish, a sentence she would repeat 2 more times until I told her to remove it and that it was ridiculous that my pizza had arrived and gotten cold before his food even appeared. She took it off the bill but there was no offer to make it right, no apology and it made me regret wasting our time. The pizza was okay but I won't ever visit this place again. Oh and I forgot they burned something in the kitchen and the smell permeated the whole dining area. Where is the management in this restaurant. I am giving it two stars only because the bus boy refilled our water several times, brought us bread and our check while our server was MIA. Plan for a long visit if you go here and put a tracker on your server or utilize the less paid staff to get...
Read moreSo disappointed in this place. We used to come here all the time when Louie Antonnuci owned it. Delicious food, great service and they always made you feel welcomed. Louie always made it a point to go to every table and talk to his customers. We recently came here for a special occasion and from the start, we were disappointed but kept thinking it will get better. Our waitress greeted us with "do you know what you want to drink?" Since we hadn't been there under the new ownership, no - we didn't know what drinks we wanted. It took her a very long time to come back to take our drink and food order, which she didn't bother to write down. We didn't see her again until she brought our check over. Several other young men were bringing us our drinks and food. At one point, we asked for more bread but never got it. At the end of the night while looking over our check, we noticed that she had charged us for the wrong kind of wine, which was double the cost of the one I ordered. I told her I did not order that wine, even though she said it was what she brought me. She ended up taking it off the check. We were there as they were closing and workers were pushing a cart with big, full trash bags right next to our table. Everyone was cleaning up around us, and we felt like we needed to go. No one ever said "thank you" when we left and, as we walked out, our waitress was already sitting at the bar adjacent to the restaurant. Not sure if we'll ever go back there...no wonder the restaurant had a lot of empty tables...
