Pros: I have been coming here since they opened. Such yummy food! They are incredibly kind and customer service oriented! It feels genuine - they feel like they genuinely enjoy working there. Portion sizes are HUGE. I love that! Cons: They are newly opened so it does take a minute to get your food order whether online ordering or in-person. I feel this will improve in time! I also feel it is so yummy it's worth the wait.

My personal experience this week: Probably my 5th time at this location since opening, but I've been to several others in OC and love them. Yesterday I was scheduled for fasting lab work with an appointment at a nearby location. I made it to my appointment fasting, but it was slim pickings and it was an 2:30 pm afternoon appointment. Long story short: the lab forgot about me and another patient, had us wait in our cars, then closed for the day leaving us very hangry and frustrated. I was an emotional mess, hangry, shaky, and feeling very ill. I sobbed all the way to Mendo to get some food for my daughter and I before the drive home. I was so visibly upset over the lab situation when ordering my food, that they insisted on giving me something to eat while waiting on my order to be fixed up. In their haste to take care of my immediate needs, they rang me up wrong but immediately called a manager over who, instead of refunding the difference, just comped half the order completely. I am so grateful for your incredibly compassionate care! Hangry and crying is not a good sane state to be in for both driving, or any public ventures. I was having a horrible horrible day and you all were amazing at taking care of me and doing your best to turn it around even though you weren't even the ones who caused the issue! This was my first time eating here and the second time trying their food (I ate their food at a work event before). I had the 1/2 chicken pesto sandwich with the kale and apple rainbow salad. They were both pretty good & the service was great! I appreciated how welcoming and caring the staff were. They asked if we had any questions about the menu and were patient when we couldn't decide right away haha. I loved how caring the cashier was in regards to my gluten allergy. He was knowledgeable about the kitchen's precautions and what kind of bread would be safest. I had the option of fresh, toasted, or panini toasted bread.
