A hidden gem and what I like to call 'The Pride of Mission Viejo'. Be careful though, this small spot is hidden and you can miss it altogether -if you're not from around the area. This is worth the drive to eat here and you really have no excuse if you live in South Orange County... It's a mom and pap type store and is just behind a liquor store. Make sure you don't mistake this place with Beach Hut Deli which is rock's throw away. Most people 'look' at Beach Hut and think that it must be a better tasting deli bc it 'looks' nicer. DON'T MAKE THAT FOOLISH MISTAKE! Support the local 'mom and pop' and you'll be surprised at what this place can churn out and a extremely reasonable and to be quite frank, 'shocking' price. The quality of the food is superb. I highly recommend the pastrami with cheese and jalapenos, which comes with a free donut and drink. Since I'm not a huge sugar fan, I always get the plain donut which is pretty good and a unsweetened ice tea.
Staff is friendly and knowledgable and pretty much the experts at donuts and deli -which seems like a strange combination until you try it. It's one of those things you just have to...
Read moreThis is DEFINITELY the hidden South Orange County gem that the true locals around here know all about! Very friendly service. Donuts are great but their sandwiches are EXCELLENT. My tip: Always go with their longest length sandwich. I go with either pastrami, egg, or veggie sandwich -depending on the mood and always with everything on it. You get to choose a donut -I always go with plain, maple bar, chocolate cake, or chocolate frosted donut. Lastly you get a drink -I recommend the unsweetened ice tea. Why? Bc the dessert was the donut... No need to sugar your way up with anything more
Go here: Trust me you won't be...
Read moreThis family owned and operated little donut shop is adjacent to a liquor store tucked in the corner. It has a Charming little outdoor seating area and it's by no means fancy but the owners and staff aim to please. They make a killer sandwich, whatever you get is always good and their fresh homemade Donuts are to die for! You can get a sandwich a drink and a donut all for under ten bucks and I mean under like $7. They open early for breakfast and are busy but they crank it out. You can get breakfast croissants salads and other items along with the donuts. One of my favorite little...
