TK Burgers — Restaurant in Mission Viejo

Not bad. Veggies were fresh. Burger patty was decent thickness. Bread was nicely toasted. I noticed that people were raving about the sauce but I did not put the sauce on anything. I wanted to eat it plain first. The cashier was smiley and friendly. Place was clean and had a cool vibe with the entire ceiling decorated in surfer records and posters. The only thing that was missing was a woody driving up in the parking lot. Oh and maybe Jules from pulp fiction munching on a burger because it felt like Quentin Tarantino used this place in his movie and renamed it Big Laguna burger, ha! I was somewhat scared to use the bathroom because I thought I might catch Vincent reading a book and sitting on the pot with a mac 10 on his lap. But, I'm not Butch and didn't really need to use the restroom so I missed...

solid classic OC burger joint. first time here so tried the big bargain cheeseburger combo (cheeseburger and fries). added a drink and it was under $14 with tax. fair price.

big 4” bun and nicely toasted. burger had a good char flavor and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. the sauce didn’t overpower the meat which was decently seasoned. could have a little juicier (charbroiling dries out the patty vs. a flat top). but overall a good burger.

fries were crispy and have a coating on it. nice.

would be back. a solid place. reminds me of the classic indie burger places like astro burger in hollywood and hi hi cheeseburger in south pasadena. never...

About number of months ago i came to TK Burgers to get a Jalapeno burger. There food is so good...unless they get your order wrong which is what happened. Today I decided to give them another shot. I ordered a Jalapeno burger: no grilled onions, pickle, or tomato. I got my order to go. When i get home i go to take a bite of my burger and i see onions all on the side of it. I open up the burger and there are a ton of grilled onions on the bottom mixed in with the jalapenos. Side note. When i walked in to the restaurant there were only 2 other customers who already had their food. So it was just carelessness of the cooks....
