I'm a dry rub guy, so their flavor is great, always, although at times the amount of spices can be a bit overwhelming. But, the ribs are never quite as tender as they should be, especially for a restaurant that's been around as long as it has. I went there a week ago for the first time in maybe 10 years or longer, hoping that they had resolved this issue. Unfortunately, they are still not falling off the bone like I would like from every BBQ joint that I visit. You can put cocoa powder on my ribs and I wouldn't care as long as the meat falls off the bone and melts in my mouth! Oh, well. Read moreSadly, I have to share my latest experience. I have been eating here for 30 years or so, and today, I received the worst ribs that I have eaten anywhere. I had a large to-go order, which didn't get filled properly (missing eggs). I should have paid more attention. When I got home and unwrapped the 4 layers of aluminum foil, the ribs were swimming in grease they were overcooked till the meat was dry, except for the Grease dripping every where.
